Based on the information I'm seeing internally it looks like it'll be released next year.

It looks like a downgrade Ryan; Free roam shooters are far superior to cover based shooters. I'd love to see a real WWII shooter on the iphone.

My thoughts exactly. I'll be skipping this one for greener, navigable pastures.

Hey guys one of my bosses recently was interviewed at CES about Brothers in Arms 3 on GeekBeatTV. Here's the video if you wanted to check out some more stuff about the game!

    Terrible controls, just terrible controls.

The game plays itself. Very disappointing.

Glu level type of freemium trash.

Game loft is better than this. And the dude rambling about how console control
schemes do not fit to tablets.... Hello, you made the Modern Combat series which last I remember play fine in traditional console patterns.

    Smh.

While I understand what you're saying, since we do utilize that type of control scheme for the MC series, I think the Developers felt a different scheme would fit this game better. Since it utilizes a cover system, rather than free roam, they wanted to try out this style and see how it works.

I feel like people would be more open to the controls if this wasn't F2P.

Or maybe it's just because it's a beloved franchise.

Perhaps being given the option to choose between control methods rather than having only one style would satisfy a lot of customers. I for one prefer using a virtual joystick, but I am also open to trying new controls. I'd like to think that if the option of choosing between control schemes was there, the customer would feel more comfortable and willing to play, as opposed to only having one method which would turn off a lot of players from this game (especially since it's Brothers in Arms, which is a great series)

However, when it comes to Gameloft games, I feel that their strength lies in the joystick control scheme. But that's just my opinion.

Glu type of gameplay (Frontline Commando, Contract Killer 2, Robocop) with Glu type of pricing model. LOL Gameloft!

And the gameplay and controls is taking it to "the next level" as stated in the video interview. LOLOLOLOLOLOL!

I've been more of a cod fan on iOS but this third part looks worth a shot. Those screenshots look really good!

I agree, I think we do the virtual joystick well for the games we have that utilize it. Once the game is launched this type of feedback will be good and I'll be sure to let the Devs know now and then because things can definitely change with updates!

Hopefully you all will give it a shot and see since it will be free. The more feedback the better!
