How's co-op? Anyone get around to trying that out yet? I havn't seen any good FPS games with co-op other than COD:Zombies, but that's a survival shooter. I want to know how it is in a campaign game. And can you play it online or is it local/bluetooth only?
I don't think they are including it in this initial release. They said that they would add it in an update.
Bummer... I was looking forward to that. It doesn't matter though, I'm still getting this game at 11 tonight. I want to play some online deathmatch and team deathmatch before the hackers get a hold of it (which they hopefully won't this time). Time to delete NOVA so I can get this (or should I get rid of Sandstorm... hmm...) EDIT: Wait, let me check the NZ page about the co-op thing.
Yeah... no co-op from what I can tell on the app page. Bummer... It can wait though, this game looks awesome enough for me to want it anyway. Always glad to have a new Gameloft FPS, especially a WWII one. And should I delete Sandstorm or NOVA? I'm leaning towards Sandstorm since it had the bigger filesize and is more like BIA2 but w/ less weapons and stuff... Any suggestions? Umm... Ipod Pwnz... I know you're new to the forums, but could you please use the Edit button rather than post over and over again? It gets a slight bit annoying having to read all those different one liners when you could use the edit button. Just for future reference. And on the topic of hacking, CRAP! It hasn't even gotten to my country and it's already hacked! Unless that dude is a complete nerd and has been playing nonstop since it came out, but even then I doubt that. Crap...
i think that is stupid...cod zombies pulls it off perfectly. I think that more games should have coop mode where you can work with a random person
I'm with you on that one. I love the co-op in COD:Zombies when I can actually play it. Sure, it has its problems with lack of communication (especially when you have to work with the point hogs who won't open a single door for you on Verruckt... but let's not get on that subject) and connection issues here and there, but overall, the system works. Better late than never though.
Yeah it has co-op, called team battle up to 3 players per side. I think they may be beta tester scores as they were there when I first downloaded the game which was about 10 minutes after it was released here in NZ.
Oh man I wanted to punch this one dude lol. He had about 2k-7k points (i can't remember lol) and I had about 1k and I wanted to go through all the doors and he's just sitting there stealing all my kills, so I can't buy any new guns or anything. Then I open all the doors which wastes all my money, and he just goes ahead and buys all the good gear. And then I died. I hated that... Good game when you have partners that can part with their point totals.
Co-op is playing with other people against the AI, not the standard team deathmatch. Gameloft said that they would be bringing co-op across all 16 levels in an update. Not sure if that's online or local, but either way it's good
MC:S had some inconsistant scores when it's MP came out but it seems as if they fixed it a while back. Sometimes people would have unobtainable kill counts and the next minute it was at a normal kill count for the position they were in. Could be the case with this but it's not unconceavable that 2600+ kills could be obtained since the games availability. Let's not forget people do boost kills between two devices sometimes, haven't played the game yet so don't no if it's possible or impossible yet, but there are a lot of possibilities than to suspect hacking at such an early stage. Although I'm also not dismissing the possibility of early hackage.
I have downloaded the game and I have tried out multiplayer and I have started the campaign. Visually the game is impressive but the controls are not as good as NOVA or MCS. It is not as smooth and it is difficult to aim accurately. The multiplayer maps seems pretty good though.
Only thing i hate from this game is how your rank gets reset after every match Aww, good game though. Worth every penny.
