is this worth a dollar? does it have difficulty and control options?

Just got BIA 2 on a ipod 3g 32g os4.0 and successfully finished prologue and played a round on online-muti without any crashes, hiccups, connection issues, or buggy menus. Hope it helped.

 

If you own an iphone 4, this is going to be an issue with a lot of games, not just Gameloft games. Many games will crash, however, it's almost assured that hotfixes will be released to fix those crashes. It the game is temporarily broken, Gameloft will not allow it to stay broken for too long. I say download the game anyway.

If you don't own an iphone 4 and the gaming aspect of your iphone or ipod touch is important to you, then you shouldn't have upgraded to the 4.0 software. I downloaded the 4.0 to my computer, but haven't upgraded yet. And this is the reason why. 4.0 incompatability is an inevitability

 

better than nova?

 

I agree & don't forget the it seems like it takes numerous clips/magazines to kill the enemy but they down you with 1-3 shots. The spawning really needs to be addressed.

you should always restart your phone when installing apps.

 

Especially for BIA2. It crashes constantly if you don't resart your iDevice.

 

OS 3, 2nd Gen iPod Touch - one crash before game started, otherwise this one has been running fine for me.

 

Got it, and all I can say is, the campaign is awesome. Also, multiplayer is pretty good, you just can't let your team get beaten up.

 

This was on the game compatibility thread, in the beginning during the cutscene, wait around 4 seconds before you press skip. If you press skip too quickly it will crash.

Bought this cause it's on sale. also bought NOVA.

I got up to the level where you have to drive the car, and the steering was just too insanely hard so I just gave up. Anyone got tips??

 

Drive slowly and get used to the controls

 

Purchased this game now it's on sale. About to give it a try, I'm sure I won't be disappointed .
