If you're wanting to get this game for single player campaign, then don't bother. The controls are terrible, and the game isn't much fun. The game is also extremely linear, and there is absolutely no exploration whatsoever. The AI is also terrible, so much to the extent that this game is basically a shooting gallery.

The multiplayer, on the other hand, is terrific. There are both Online and Local, and you can play on 3 different game modes across 5 different maps. Deathmatch is your standard mode, but there are also 2 co-op modes - Team Battle and Domination. Online Multiplayer works well and there is almost zero lag.

IMO, BIA2 is better than MC:S.

I really like multiplayer! So fun... I just wish there was ability to take over oppositions bases like Battlefield 1942. Or is there?.. I've only played a couple times!

The voice acting isn't that bad... that is, compared to NOVA's.

I haven't really gotten into the game yet so I'm not sure just how I feel about it right now, but I do love how atmospheric it is. You really do feel like you're on a battlefield.

i'm about 3/4 of the way through the campaign (i'm on the last section now) and i've been enjoying it quite a bit. there's just enough different things to do to keep the gameplay from being repetitive.

however, there are some really bad parts to the campaign - notably, trying to drive/steer the damn jeep (which i got on my second try by going veeery slowly). that part was almost unplayable at first.

i've also been playing online multiplayer which is excellent overall but also has a few problems, like the fact that deathmatch is almost unplayable on a few maps because it's just a spawn-kill fest. a couple times in deathmatch games i've spawned RIGHT NEXT to someone else who also just spawned at the same time. that should never happen.

however, the team deathmatches are really fun and that's mostly what i play now. i think this game ranks right up there with nova in terms of overall quality, and the online component maybe even better because there are no hackers (at least that i've run into...knock on wood).

I am in love with this game. The explosion effects (sound/visual) are by far the best on any FPS yet. Controls take a bit to get used to, but once you're used to them (takes about 10 min. for me) you won't be able to stop playing. I've only completed the first two levels of campaign because multiplayer is so addicting. This is gameloft's best multiplayer FPS. A lot better then MC:S and a little better then Nova.

I'm starting to enjoy the campaign mode a lot more now that I'm used to the controls. The story is quite compelling as well.

A little help please, i just started the Sicily campaign the skies of fire segment. Do I fly the plane/glider thru the hoops with the arrows on the sides or in that direction? Because so far it keeps stalling & then crashing. Thank you for any information.

yea, you have to be pretty precise too, i had to do that segment like 5 or 6 times cuz i kept slightly missing a hoop and then stalling/dying.

Through the hoops. But the controls for that part is terrible so don't be annoyed if you keep on failing.

Funnily enough, that part I didn't have a problem with and did first time. But the rest of the controls suck and really bug me. The whole aim with one thumb, move with the other and fire with yet another (?) makes me wish I hadn't bothered with the game. But then again, the actual game I'm enjoying. But it would be so less frustrating with decent controls.

just beat the campaign today. great game, i'm satisfied with my purchase. beating it on normal unlocks the grenade launcher, but I don't think I'm going to replay the campaign again on hard. it was good the first time around but i would probably be bored playing it again. the multiplayer is still great though.
