Single player had it moments. The Sicily Bridge mission is one of them, It's really fun moving from cover to cover.
I like the maps too, I just wish they stuck to MC:S maps a little more than NOVA. In NOVA, there were big open spaces, so you constantly died. MC:S, most of the maps were closed, but I found the map, Bodybags, perfect. In BiA2, The Sicily and Normandy maps are pretty good, but the action still mostly takes place in big open places. I wish there were also more buildings to go into in all of the maps. Bridges reminds me of NOVA the most. The things in the game that I think should be improved upon: Ability to slide to change directions while running (more so than now) Better voice acting Smoother animation when jumping over a cover location
Gameloft should start releasing "Lite"-Versions of their games. At least NOVA and Avatar have none. I'm sick of paying for something where afterwards i think it wasn't really worth the $$$, so i didn't purchase NOVA nor Avatar and this one too, though i love FPS and MCS was great. But i guess it's "First we want your money, then you can complain and then we might update"
Already no 8 on the top grossing. I guess Gameloft games will sell nevertheless no matter how TouchArcaders view them.
agree...on the first days lots of people purchase, but toucharcade and other communities are for the "long term", if the first hype is over and people ask what game to recommend etc., then these communities come into play.
The only controls I've had problems with so far have been the vehicle driving (jeep). Oh man those sucked! The rest of the controls have been great, pretty much how most controls are for this type of game. Still not done with the game. I'm loving it so far! Has anyone gotten all achievements yet?
Arg! It's so frustrating! The Multiplayer is a great step up from their previous offerings IMO but there's still that lack of spawn rules! I can be in a completely empty corner of a map and have someone spawn right behind me... or right in front of me.. poor bastard. Even the simplest rule (ie. Spawn as far as possible from all enemies) would be a huge step up, I think.
I've spent a little time with the game now and it is awesome! It really reminds me of Killzone 2, the controls and so on.. The only thing aking me say it's not a killzone clone is that it's a WWII game, if it'd been a high-tech game i'd say that it was a pure killzone 2 copy. BTW Killzone 2 is a great game, go pick it up if you have the money!
Wow it was hard to shoot the guy with that RPG. Finally got that bastard Gonna go get another Nazi...
I am actually enjoying the campaign more than the multiplayer. The gameplay and the graphics seem to get better and better as you progress!
I'm still in the Sicily campaign but this game is really getting impressive. I played the hell out of the original BIA but this one blows it away IMO. Going to be on my phone for a long, long time.
Game Impressions I played some multiplayer. Not bad. Much better then Modern Combat: Sandstorm's mp. Everything worked flawlessly and I experienced no lag. The controls weren't so bad, however aiming and shooting at the same time can get a bit difficult. Graphics were top notch in multiplayer and after fiddling around with the control settings/sensitivity, I found the perfect controls for myself. I'm definitely enjoying this game and the menu screens are nice. Time to start the Campaign mode.
I Must Be In The Minority (because So Far I Like The Game So Far) And Yes The Controls Do Take Some Getting used To. I'm on the Africa Campaign now,but so far I like this game.I Loathed The First One(Deleted it) My One Complaint is the file size (Gobbled Up most Of My mb's I Only have 55.4 Mb left. I'm doing very good shooting wise (Try to make the top 50)
