Gameloft loves doctoring screens... I bet the 3GS version looks worse than the others... Some reason, I know I'm gonna buy this, though. A sucker I am for WW2. I await impressions.
Nice that Gameloft is still making their games compatible with OS 2.2.1. Guess they're interested in maximizing their pool of potential customers so that they can sell as many games as possible...unlike a lot of smaller, less successful developers...
dammit.. just when I thought I'm finally done spending money for a big games this month...... grr... note to self: need to visit TA's forum less often.
Just played the Prologue Mission which seems to be a story intro and tutorial and the first episode of the Africa campaign. Lots of cutscenes and very scripted, gameplay is like an interactive story more so than N.O.V.A. Lots of weapons already, rifle, machine gun, flame thrower, bazooka, mounted machine gun and tank gun. Graphics are more refined than the first BIA and are quite detailed, running very smoothly on Touch 2G. Online leaderboard, Local and online multiplayer but no other players online yet so have not tried it out. Personally it feels a little too scripted with lots of onscreen prompts for actions and directions but it's still quite enjoyable so far because the story is fresh but I doubt I would be in a hurry to give it a replay once completed.
Those graphics don't look very good. Sandstorm looked smoother and better. I hope the 3GS/32 and 64 GB 3G touch version looks better. i want to torture my ipt3 with harsh graphics and draw distance that will use 100 mb of RAM, 100% of CPU and make my GPU overheat, but i can't yet.
