Another disappointing multiplayer experience by Gameloft. I can't wait for a good publisher to come in and show them how it's done.
well maybe i was wrong, the singleplayer still seems average but the multiplayer is AWESOME! the controls get a bit fidgety in the middle of the action (there are way more buttons than MC:S or NOVA) but the graphics are sooo much better in multiplayer than singleplayer, i dont know why but they are, the cover works well and the team play with 3v3 is cool. only thing really is that the bazooka is overpowered as hell. I spose thats leveled by the fact it only comes with one round but its really annoying when you jump behind cover and are immediately killed by a bazooka. But overall the multiplayer is great
I think 6 man MP is too many on these map sizes. You barely even get to gain a good ratio before your shot in the back. (everyone on the leaderboard has more deaths than kills and it's not like that with MC:S) Maybe I should use the terrain more. I think they should have went with 4 man still very fun game and great sequal!!
Cleared the prolouge level and it was fun. Only mishaps i found were they used the old COD Zombies controls with one hand for the stick and the other to painstakingly drag across the screen. Another thing is don't bother throwing nades in a shack or building when you're right up against a window since it'll hit the top of it and blow up in your face. Haven't tried the multiplayer yet though so I can't wait.
I'm so glad I decided to wait for impressions of multiplayer before buying this game. Usually I instant buy FPS without second guessing it, but every since NOVA's online experience (hackers) deciding to wait seemed logical. I refuse to buy this game due to the fact that it is already hacked and Gameloft has yet to do anything about hackers in general. I can't justify buying it just for the campaign either, already owning NOVA which looks way better IMO (after watching videos of BIA2), it would be a waste. Complete campaign then what? Go online for a hack-fest? Thanks, but if I want the I'll stick with good ole' NOVA =). I will admit though, team deathmatch would be awesome to play Eliminate's co-op can satisfy my urges, whenever I'm away from Halo at home.
I'm quite underwhelm too with the SP, nothing new or exciting. MP is quite good though but overall i think i'm getting a bit tired of gameloft shooters. I think it's time they focus on another genre like ahem RTS.
IMHO this will be hacked and since gameloft already profitted from it, they won't fix it and instead release a new game. Sad but it's close to the truth. Gameloft=fire and forget
they didn't forget MC:S,online MP was still added even after a long time but too bad they really are focusing on new games than improving their current games with regards to this game.... something's not right,i haven't tried online MP,i'm sure i'll enjoy that but SP isn't that good to me
Woah... Something just changed. I was playing single player and got to the 3rd mission, and the sensitivity changed! It was working great! Now if I could just move the firing button down a little...
really? i hope it will happen on me also i wish they'll add NOVA's best control feature-placing buttons where ever you want
Is it worth it? Does it run ok (with framerate above 25 so you won't experience much lag) on an iPod 2nd gen? I loved the first brothers in arms (played it on both DS and iPhone, preferred the DS version), is this better? Most gameloft games are good, except for some games that totally ripped me off, like Hawx. Hawx just sucks, I've bought it yesterday, because I got a free copy for PC with the new GPU I bought a couple of days ago(XFX Ati Radeon HD 5850 ), really liked the game and the iPhone version seemed very cool too, but I don't like it at all. So.. my question is; is it worth it? does it run ok on an iPod 2d gen?
IMO, it's Gameloft's version of CoD:WaW like MC:S was their CoD:MW. It's MC:S with NOVA's slide to switch weapons and a run button. Close up shots accompany kill streaks. MP adds Domination, some legit sniper spots in some maps, 2 additional players per map, kill rewards let you call in reinforcements, and removes overpowered shotguns. I think that about covers it.
