Why are you all begging for Iron sights? You don't need iron sights! Heck, as challenging as this game is you don't even need a gun! It really forces you to think as you sit invincible behind your tiny piece of cover, letting your partner/brother do all the work (when he isn't acting up and just standing around). Progress synced across devices? Only going to play because I like WWII as an environment for FPS and getting as much gaming in as I can before school starts back. As loosely as that word may apply in this case !!
So far so good, I kinda like what I'm seeing here. It's not what we all wanted but it seems gameloft is willing to cater to more "hardcore" fans. What first strikes me is that all the guns are unlockable through the campaign it seems. The gameplay is fairly smooth on the 4s though the cut scene skip frame a lot. graphics aren't as "cartoony" as originally panned, it feels like those PS2 games but with more vivid colours. I haven't hit the timer wall since I been leveling up quite a bit. At least there is offline mode . From first impressions gameloft still seem to be experimenting their FTP model, I see most of Asphalt 8 FTP design here. Did gameloft announce Multiplayer for this game yet?
I realize this is not the game that others wanted but I'm enjoying it so far. I'm kind of having a nostalgic moment with it, having loved BIA:HoH as the first shooter on iOS that basically said hey look these types of games are possible. And I admit, I popped the first time I heard "Americana".
Guys this game has a widget. ಠ_ಠ Edit the image is blurry too. Also how does double kills work? Do I need to use one bullet to kill two opponents or do I need to continually shoot and kill two people with one clip?
The game just started crashing for me at the initial loading screen last night. Keeps doing it, I've tried rebooting my phone and playing with and without wifi, still won't work. Will just reinstall unless there's something else I can try
It's actually not too bad. Not sure yet if it's my type of game, never played a cover shooter before. But at least in the early stages the energy system hasn't been an issue, which was my main concern.
This is just a pass for me. It gets boring really fast. This is nothing like the Brothers in Arms I played when it was first released many years ago. You can't flank the enemy or use any tactics . You just point and shoot, duck down and repeat. Boring.....this might as well be a light gun game. What a waste!
