ok so my laptop (Asus G73S) has been acting up for the past few weeks, specifically the charger/adapter. The adapter is plugged in right now but it isn't charging. This has been going on for a few weeks but I did manage to make it charge by holding down the plug (weird, I know) So I did some research on this and found out that the problem is most likely the motherboards power socket has come loose. Is this fixable or will I have to send it off for repair? Thanks for your help.
I'd say it's repairable but it would probably take someone who can solder and in the worst case scenario replace the entire motherboard I'd say it's probably best to have a proper repair place have a look at it or send it in. It's probably something pretty basic but laptops usually aren't the easiest machines to work on. If it's still under warranty I'd use it.
