Brigands and Barbarians HD by Dynamic Adventures Inc. This is my iPad RPG, I am a one man indie game studio and I code all night trying to bring my vision of Pen and Paper RPGs mixed with classic RPGs I played on my Apple ][e. So I just bought this game as I saw it in the price drop/sales forum. I was very surprised that I had never heard of it because dungeon crawlers are my passion. I love the game so far it's very unique and beautiful I feel the old school rpg vibe cause I love them too.the map is a work of art I'm a little confused by the IAP ( what are they? is it a one time buy?) i saw earlier in this thread you mentioned adding a cuthulhu .. Please please do so! Here's a few ideas for future updates: an open world free roam rpg really needs quests. NPC's in villages and cities that can ask you to go kill x amount of a specific creature or go find whatever magic artifact in a cave. The rewards can be xp, gold, if you had various difficulty level quests the reward for the really hard one could be an epic spell or weapon. I also think an inventory system would be nice. People like to be able to see what they have. Turn the backpack icon( I initially thought this was your inventory) into your inventory instead of it sending people to purchase the weird IAP. Let people sell what they don't want in villages and cities. That leads to my next idea, add a mage somewhere that can teach/sell new spells and add the new spells. I love playing as the magic users. This game is awesome and can only get better, you have gained a new fan, so please keep updating!
Thanks Repulsa, Will be adding many of these elements that you suggest. Here is a description of the IAP in the game. Back to life with food and gold: Brings your Avatar back to life and also gives you food and additional gold, so that if you died by staving or lack of a good weapon you hopefully won't suffer the same fate again. The best way to get more food is to buy a Hunting Dog and search the Shrines from free weapons. +1 ability score: Allows you to up any ability score by one point. You get this for free whenever you level up. None of these are needed to enjoy or win the game.
