Hrm...what do you think it should be called? I'm pretty bad with names, which is why I left it with stock xD
I appreciate the comments made regarding my last comment, however, when you have an option of "restore purchases" then that doesn't imply, or is no way ambiguous as to its meaning. Other commenters have put that I'm new to consumables, but have had my ipad for 2 years and have plenty of games that allow me to delete the game, then at a later date restore the purchase, that were present upon delete. As I've said when a game gives you the option to restore purchases it basically does what's written on the tin.that is my issue. Why give an option when the option does not direct you to a given destination, I.e proving that you've had the purchase or doing what it states that is restoring purchases. I've even sent photos date stamped of the scenes dump of the purchases that I've made, and yet I'm still given the bottom line that (A) we can't help you, or (B) we can't prove we meaning iTunes and the company arenot being scammed. So rather than repeating the complaint, I'll make a suggestion, REMOVE the restore purchases option so it does not mislead prospective purchasers that it will actually do as it says. Regards milinks
Whatever games you've played before are exceptions to the rule. "Restore Purchases" is what Apple asks developers to call it, and Apple's design of their IAPs has that button only restore permanant, non-consumable, 1 time IAPs. Lets move past that though. What do you expect them to do? They can't undetected your save file, and there is no possible way to restore your consumable IAPs. If you need a refund, as a long time iOS user you must know you need to contact Apple, not the developer. Apple is the seller, and does not allow developers to refund money. And just FYI, from Apple Support
I get kind of generic with gun names - I'd probably name it something like "The Ripper" or something. You could probably think of something better than that.
Firefly all day every day! Nerd alert: Vera has what's called a PVS-14 for an optic. That 'optic' is actually a night vision device. Interestingly, that black box mounted at the top is a DBAL, which is an infrared laser device. Looking through the pics of guns used in Firefly...they had some interesting choices (lol Hollywood pre-fab companies that just make everything)...and apparently aiming is for squares. . Love that show.
So what's next? Are you guys working on finishing those extra maps and other game modes? Both of which I'm very looking forward to.
I've never heard of a game that lets you restore consumable IAPs -- by definition, once they're gone they're gone. What happened to you is bad luck, but you should ask Apple for a refund. Good luck.
Community AAR #3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sowPAUXvX_s Got some news in there you might fancy .
It's not technically restoring, but if you play a game where all your account data is stored online, an MMO for instance, after deleting and reinstalling, when you log into your account, you'll get your save data including consumables back. I imagine that poster had only ever bought consumables in those sorts of games before. That or another form of data saving, to desktop or iCloud, are the only ways it is possible.
