One problem I had was that the arrow I control would be rendered under furniture, so it was hard to tell when I got it right. Yeah, I don't want a do-over or mid-mission saves, for sure. Operators' eye view would be interesting too, since I'd only see the action they saw. The weapon stats are mostly confusing because the units aren't clear. Is 5 a lot of noise to gain? A lot of mobility to lose? No big deal, just don't stack to 20 and you're OK? The desert paint job really does seem to impair that JTF2 carbine, though.
Wow came back to say the first location is a nice start but when you unlock turkey and china there so much better. Really opens up and gets much better with the other two locations. Just incase someone plays the first few levels and thinks its a bit weak, hold on and it gets much better.
Is there a way to view/replay the turn from different camera angles? That's the biggest failing with many simultaneous type wego games, as unless you can replay the "movie", there is no way to see what happened to any unit other than the one the camera happens to be pointing at. Maybe not a big deal with the small maps I've seen so far, but if the maps get any larger then it will be impossible to see all of the action on any given turn.
Some of the game enter achievements are not working for me, I, on the leaderboard with over 100 kills but no achievement for killing 100 enemy's (it only says 1% complete) There's a couple more that are not working too.
That's for that. I'm liking this more the more I play. Suppressors are a really big help I fitted my people with lights on their guns but you don't see it during play? Is that something we might see, as I was expecting to see the torch light or the laser sight during the game. Also Spoiler If multiplayer player is added do you think we'll see tea bagging as a feature
One other great thing I'm seeing...the power consumption for this game is incredibly low on my IP5. Compared to games like Xcom or Real Racing, both of which cause major battery drain, B&C seems to use very little power comparatively. It's really impressive for such a good looking game.
Played thru a couple of missions.. Not saying the game is no good but this genre or this game doesn't have a lasting appeal on me.. I haven't played many missions but I think the concept of game is to complete a mission in the quickest possible time.. I dunno about you guys but I don't get gratification of any sort from completing a mission.. Unlike the feeling when I played xcom or 15 years ago when I was into jagged alliance or fallout.. There are no drops only payout after completing a mission. Talking about realism my squad automatically heal completely after a mission.. I waiting for the day where jagged alliance or something similar come to iOS.. However I think for the price you pay for this game it's totally awesome..recommended to anyone who loves this kind of genre.. Back to xcom for me
feedback After making it through the Afghanistan missions on easy and going back on harder levels, a couple of my guys got wounded. I think it would definitely increase the emotional value of the game if your wounded soldiers have to sit out for a mission or 2 depending on how gravely wounded they are. It would definitely change the way I play the game if that was a concern. Xcom does that well, where I'm really invested in my more senior soldiers. Especially if I have my team leader has leveled up a lot, I wouldn't want to replace him with a rookie if he gets wounded, but that's also a way to level up other soldiers. Just a thought. And BTW, while I love XCom, I agree this is a very different game. I actually enjoy B&C more on my iphone while I prefer Xcom on my ipad. It's a much more phone-friendly game IMO.
devs are right, i'm trying Sabreteam on iDOS (never played it) and is very similar to B&C in a lot of ways!
Anyone else notice that the menu is really slow? When you touch something it takes like 2-3 seconds to react
Hey devs, Just curious but where are the masked portraits shown on the app store screenshots for your soldiers? Or am I missing something? Couldn't find them on any of the teams. To me, the coolest looking soldiers are the ones that you can't see their face. If they're not in this version could you consider putting them in future versions, maybe with more masked designs? For instance: bandanna, gas mask, ballistic face mask, etc. I know they may not reflect the actual character model itself but it'd be cool just for personalization. The cooler my character looks, the more I'd want to level him up
Major pet peeve...don't come on to a thread, especially one with so much activity from the devs, and give a one star rating without any feedback. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion, you might not like this genre that's fine, but at least let the developer know why they are getting one star. The fact that its another developer giving it one star makes it a little harder to swallow. edit: I personally would have given it four stars but felt like I needed to balance out ole one star mcgraw with a +1. If they were to come on and make a valid argument for their rating I would gleefully change my rating. Otherwise that would clearly be a breach of etiquette.
if this was a reply to my post, good to know i'm not the only one hopefully a quick update could solve this since is the only thing holding me back to actually explore well the market if any of the devs is reading what does the stat "ROF" do since it shows a numer with sec/shot (maybe is shoot per second?) A screen to compare weapons and attachments could also come in handy if is possible, also the navy seal team in the squad screen their clothes is all black maybe this is a bug? since ingame their clothes is more of a light color
That's a known issue, we're currently working on it right now! Apologize for the problem! We're currently working on headgear/faces and other items to help diversify your team even more! A whole mess of options are coming down the pipeline! Kind of missed this one....but yeah, we're totally looking for feedback, and we totally want to make this game better. We're getting a lot of positivity, and there are issues we are working on. A lot of what is being said here, on our FB page and other communities is going to help drive the game even further! ROF=Rate of Fire The comparison stuff is something we've been talking internally about, and how we can best show that off. It continues to be an internal discussion! Hopefully we'll have something cool in an update soon! Lastly; yes, the Black clothes was a bug. There's some customization options coming soon that will explain why that camo pattern has the color thing going on .
We'll be looking into this - there is a lot of high-poly models being loaded and unloaded at every step. We'll do what we can to optimize this, but you might not see anything change significantly until our second update (we'll be submitting the next one on Tuesday with some big bug fixes and a few new features).
