Anyone playing on an iPhone, feel the same way I do? Hard to see both units at the same time on a small screen when you split your squad up? I posted my suggestions on the other page (split screen or picture in picture when you breach so you can see both units at the same time while zoomed in) Is that feasible?
I've been playing it on my iPhone 5 for awhile now so I have gotten used to it but my suggestion is to pop in to perspective camera angle before you hit breach (I use over the top mainly for planning) and rotate it around and zoom it out enough till you're framing your guys/rooms they are in/entering and it allows me to catch all the action. I hope that helps!
That's good. Cause seeing that type of cruddy IAP system in any game pretty scares me off...main reason I didn't push the buy button. I'll admit that kind of IAP is still putting me on the fence, think I'll just wait for more media reviews tho
Once you've named your squad and soldiers, are you able to change those names? Is there a way to swap out specialists after initially creating a squad? For example, I started with a medic but want an inielligence guy for the next mission...how do I do that? Thanks.
Not right now....we'll probably allow for that in an update! We considered it heavily before launch, and it seems we do in fact need to get it in!
So I'm dissatisfied with the names I chose for my guys...they're too long. Nothing I can do about the other than reinstall and lose progress? I'm kinda into micromanagement and, for lack of a better term, digital feng shui. I guess there is a better term...OCD. None the less, now that I've started to get a feel for the game, there are a number of early cosmetic decisions I want to change. I definitely agree that you should find a way to get it in. I was unhappy with my names I picked at the start as I used the same surname so all my guys had the same name during a mission, So I deleted it and reinstalled then switched the first and last names around. I didn't see an option for renaming my guys in game.
The game asks you to confirm your names. We'll see about adding an option down the road to allow you to rename at will though. Be mindful when you make your names! .
Thanks again Josh Well my only real complaint is that I would like to see all this stats explain in the tutorial section the class specific only appear when you create a squad and I forgot about it later Apart from changing the name to the soldiers and squad you can't create new members in the same squad? A permanent-death option could work with this for those that like more challenge
I had the same first impression about the lack of female characters (and the incredibly violently ugly male characters), but also immediately understood why they weren't included, as most of the special forces groups represented (and some that aren't yet) simply don't accept women in the real world at this time. However, the group I chose in B&C (Canada's JTF 2) actually does accept women: That said, B&C isn't the "official" game of any particular military, so there's room to manoeuvre on the realism front even for the other groups. Just include a female model and faces, and re-use the existing animations from the male character. It's not as though there are a lot of cutscenes or dialogue that would cause problems in this regard.
In fairness, I was confident confirming them until I saw how they are displayed, at which point it was too late. I think the more important concern of mine was the lack of ability to swap out soldiers from my squad with one or two of the specialty classes I bypassed initially. This would add a level of strategic management from mission to mission that I can only assume would be welcome by many.
Same as me, I didn't realise which name would show during the mission which is why after redownloading it again I named them the same names but in reversed order.
I have a question. If I buy this now and I buy an ipod 5 two months from now (Im still using an ipod 4) will i still get the golden m4? I am aware this game does not work for ipod 4 Edit: Decided not to buy it cause I dont want something that won't work on my device.
