Those cinematic cameras will hopefully be in very, very soon! We want to get them perfect, and that's taken a lot of focus! Cause yeah...they are quite cool!
Nevermind, reboot my device and now i could place it the problem was with the "Custom M4A1/SOPMOD" and the "Advanced Holo Sight" ThePraetorian another thing do you know what does the leadership, explosives, proficiency and intimidation stats do? i'm guessing explosives improve the damage of granades and such but still not sure about the others
smoother and smaller file size than xcom. this is meant for mobile. xcom was not. it has that trigger fist atmosphere yet very professional. the interface is super squeaky clean and professional notto mention the original layout. Go through the tutorial and you will be great to go. my only problem is.. i wish to get a clearer view of my squad when they fight like the breach animation in the beginning of each game. also id like to see a camera view from a helmet or even camera from the same level as the squad members. Otherwise this game superb. Dont really get why its so cheap when it offers something premium. For those who worried about the transfer from freemium to premium? Dont you worry there are no iap wall.
Glad you got it worked out. All attachments should be available to use on all base rifles except the gold M4 which doesn't have a front rail system so you're limited to only placing Optics and Suppressors on the gold M4.
Ok. I found it. I have to use the link to find the game.when I searched in the app store, I didn't find it.
This is both a blessing and a curse, however. For those who found Frozen Synapse inscrutable (or simply don't have an iPad on which to play it), or were interested in XCOM but passed because of the size/price/theme, B&C definitely has something to offer. That said, this is very much a fast-paced mobile-native "lite" kind of experience; anybody expecting tense, lengthy cat-and-mouse engagements of the XCOM variety won't find them here. B&C is all about speed and tiny environments, and feels a bit like those games that are made up of hundreds of minigames that each take five seconds to play. Each independent mission in B&C is usually over in literally 2-4 minutes, and there's no real satisfaction in the takedowns (the upcoming cinematic cameras should assist with this). There's definitely a solid framework here, but the content still needs tweaking and bulking up (admittedly, the developers already have plans in this regard). I'm hoping to see much bigger maps and looking forward to the two new gameplay modes (hostage rescue and bomb defusal). Further down the track I'd also quite like to see a more in-depth campaign/story mode, a la Rainbow Six.
"An exclusive 'Day One Gold M4' for early supporters" ... what they don't say is that you still have to buy it with real money or silver to obtain it.
I was put off by the fact when I saw it ingame...no biggie, i dont care much for trivial video game issues, i just went " you sneaky lil bastards"
I played XCom on the PS3, now have it on my iPad. Purchased B&C as well..no Absolutely different gameplay altogether. The platform might be remotely similiar..you know, grid style movement, cover system. But that is all...if you have XCom..then id say you will NOT find the same experience here..'XCom minus the lasers and aliens" is a terrible description.
First impressions: 1. Music skips a bit when navigating menus, which can be a little laggy as well (iPad Mini), sometimes takes a second to register input. 2. Animations are a little janky. 3. Input in game feels tricky, sometimes it won't register the "hold to set waypoint", I would suggest the option of double tapping to set perhaps? 4. Some of the promised features (clothing etc...) are "coming soon", it seems like content was pulled out or held back but if it's a free update that's fine I guess. Overall I like what's here, but it feels like there is a ton of potential improvements, for me they would be: 1. Cinematic camera on movements as an option / camera options. 2. Pistols, SMG's and even LMG's, the former two ARE realistic, the latter not so much... 3. International squads (I know this is due down the line).
It's phase-based (turn-based with simultaneous execution): you plan the movement, facing and item usage for your team members, then hit the go button and everybody (allies and enemies) takes their turn at the same time. The reason the missions are over so quickly is because the maps are very, very small and there are only a handful of enemies on them. To put it in perspective, the game records the total time each mission takes to clear (measuring the action alone with all the pauses removed), and the last mission I played (that took two turns and about two minutes in real time to set up) was cleared by my squad in 7.9 actual seconds.
Ahhh got it... Interesting. I don't really recall many turn based games where battle phases occur simultaneously..
First impressions. It's alright I suppose. Kind of a Frozen Synapse lite. The controls in my opinion are much worse. The hit boxes are very precise and more often than not I've ended up adding an extra point in the wrong place, then another while trying to drag and remove it. Scrolling and twisting is a bit jerky on iPad 3. No story to speak of. I'm not seeing any reason to play the next mission besides 'kill more doodz, get more credits.' Guns cost lots of credits. And you have to buy them for each squad member. Realistic I suppose, but, meh. Looks pretty at first, but the offices are identical. Identical desks, identical sofas. Not much variety after all. No SAS or GSG-9? Pfft, where are the 'and more' lauded in the app description. They didn't mention one team. EDIT: it also crashes more than Xcom does on my iPad. Twice in the first hour. And obv I've followed procedure when installing.

What is this frozen synapse you guys keep talking about? I have never heard of this game, is this an iOS?
