Noomen Well-Known Member Sep 14, 2014 68 0 6 #5 Noomen, Apr 12, 2017 Tried it in softlaunch and my impression was that it was too slow. Characters move and attack too slow. And given the fact that it is a a bit f2p and grindy, the slow moving doesn't help. I hope they fixed it in the universal launch. yankeeblue000 Well-Known Member Aug 29, 2016 644 36 28 #6 yankeeblue000, Apr 12, 2017 Still slow & grindy. I love the art though. Let's see if they tweak it a little yankeeblue000 Well-Known Member Aug 29, 2016 644 36 28 #7 yankeeblue000, Apr 12, 2017 Feels almost like playing Darkest Dungeon or Has-Been Heroes, almost. I wish they would've went premium with this. Since I don't think we're getting iOS versions of those games anytime soon this would've been perfect. The artwork is also reminiscent of those game, but still distinct. JohnnyClash Well-Known Member Mar 11, 2016 611 1 0 #8 JohnnyClash, Apr 12, 2017 Last edited: Apr 13, 2017 I little on the slow side? Cool... I'll try it and report back. The pacing during battle is definitely, umm, on the slow side.. Like the person below me said, it may feel more complete as levels and difficulty continue. We will see. Pretty cool game, overall.. I'm conflicted at this point if the great art style and special attack/spell visuals outweigh the pace. Have to play a bit longer to see if this is just due to the difficulty not picking up yet. Maybe later on in the game it won't feel so slow if more difficult hordes are coming at you. yankeeblue000 Well-Known Member Aug 29, 2016 644 36 28 #10 yankeeblue000, Apr 13, 2017 Last edited: Apr 13, 2017 Is anyone playing this? I don't get enough in the game to upgrade one piece of weapon without some serious grinding Mouaren New Member Apr 14, 2017 3 0 0 #11 Mouaren, Apr 14, 2017 Hi, everyone. I'm game designer of Bravium. Thank you for playing our game, it's really nice to see somebody likes it. You can ask any questions about the game to me. Q: How do I upgrade my weapons? A: You can upgrade weapons by collecting special weapon cards. These card are rewards for completing levels, raids and challenges. Once you've collected enough cards you can spend some cabbages to increase weapon's parameters permanently. Q: Do I have to buy cards with diamonds? A: You can do it so, but it's not the optimal way. Card shop is a tool to get a needed card if you lucky enough with shop's random. ramzarules Well-Known Member Sep 13, 2014 2,112 128 63 Greece #12 ramzarules, Apr 14, 2017 the art is beautiful, and the upgrade system is in place, but the battles are so far from "exciting action packed" it's almost funny. You just walk two steps, wait for the guy to finish slashing and move the next two steps, repeat. Can't something be done about it? Mouaren New Member Apr 14, 2017 3 0 0 #13 Mouaren, Apr 14, 2017 We tried to make balance between difficulty and game speed on the starting levels. There are many players who didn't catch battle patterns quick as you, so they need more space to practice. Also, many additional controls, skills and mechanics unlocks further in the game an overall tempo increases much on higher levels. You can check this video: https://everyplay.com/videos/41355332 it is nearly middle-level of the current game progress. Osterus Well-Known Member Feb 12, 2011 442 0 0 #14 Osterus, Apr 14, 2017 If you want to walk like a turtle and hit even slower, then this is the game for you... Honestly dunno what the devs were thinking.. should just replace every character model with a different turtle sprite. That would fix the game's theme. Andre Well-Known Member Apr 11, 2012 3,643 2 38 #15 Andre, Apr 14, 2017 I'm not exicted while playing the game because it is so slowly... Don't have enough patient while control the character... Mance Member Oct 27, 2014 6 0 1 #17 Mance, Apr 14, 2017 The game has been fun. The slowness of the game bothered me at first but around level 15 you start getting hit with a lot of stuff and the gamespeed makes more sense. I'm currently on level 20. Still dont know how to collect any other colored cabbages to make potions. Mouaren New Member Apr 14, 2017 3 0 0 #18 Mouaren, Apr 14, 2017 It's not so obvious in the game, my bad, but you cannot collect colored cabbages. You can only get them by disemboweling potions. You don't really need to do this on level 20, but on later levels players usually have some favorite potions they want to craft. So we added this system mostly for late game progress. wyzau Well-Known Member Oct 3, 2012 298 1 18 #19 wyzau, Jan 19, 2018 I now have a mission 'equip weapons from the runes combinations 0/6' - what does that mean? Thanks! Doesn't seem to be much strategy to be honest, and the slow pace means you don't need reflexes either. The typical side-scroller usually either requires reflexes or some sort of strategy...timing of when to buy troops, when to use powers. A lot of that seems absent or fairly obvious. Also not wild about adopting mid-level non-permanent upgrading -- that works in a MOBA, but doesn't really fit this type of game. Compare the pacing of something like I think its called Zombieville, a side-scroller that has earned a lot of money. Maybe you can up the pace and add enemies coming from both directions.
