Let's get one thing straight. Russian developer Gaijin has probably chosen the wrong name for this game. It's nothing to do with Scotland or Mel Gibson. Instead this Braveheart is an action RPG that has you on a search for that old medieval favourite Holy Grail. Which is protected by a large dragon. Oh, and you're a brave knight called Richard, who's armed with a laser gun. Still, despite the branding confusion, it looks fairly decent, in terms of the released screenshots and video at least. Control might seems to be an issue though as it appears you don't have direct control over Richard, instead tapping where you want him to move to, and only being able to attack when you're static. Ten weapons such as lasers, hammers and crossbows, as well as magic spells to trigger fireballs or lightning will be available. It also looks like it will provide some inventory and role-playing levelling up options, as well as plenty of achievements. Expect more details to become available before Braveheart is released for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad in December. You can see how it plays in the following video. Holey Moley! This looks quite good! A bit like a medial Diablo-style game I wonder that nobody posted here yet!
This came out of nowhere. Love the artstyle (reminds me of iDracula) and the attacks look varied and powerful.
I can't tell you how disappointed I am that it isn't based on Braveheart the movie (my favorite movie ever), but it looks like it could be decent.
Is there any information on pricing or file size ? Wow my phone is getting more full as my wallet gets less though as we get closer to xmas lol The game looks really cool, i like how the n fires, i hated the bow and arrow in Diablo games, but in this your version of the bow is super cool minigun
This looks a bit like Ghouls & Garters for the ambient & athmo. But I guess this one play a whole lot better. I am so glad this isn´t base on that stupid movie. But I admit I did not know the comics it is derived from either. Last thing I remember in that direction was Death Dealer and that is A FEW years ago, already. Anybody remember "Slaine" from Simon Bisley? That was a bad ass comic.
This looks entertaining.. Just subscribed to this thread and hope to get future updates about progress/plans when this hits the store..
