Please have a look at Smiley's Pop (an addictive match 3 game) and Jump Birdy Jump (an awesome physic plat-former). Both games would be suited to your audience. Smiley's Pop would be pretty straight forward to re-skin as your character are matching the shape of my Smiley's. Jump birdy Jump would be a much bigger project.
