I absolutely love Braid. It's radically different mechanics and design manage to create gameplay that feels so refreshingly new, that it makes 99% of all other *good* games feel stale and unimaginative by comparison. Even now, a year after I finished it, it still makes such a lasting impression on me. I can understand it's unusual gameplay is perhaps not to everyone's tastes, but that doesn't mean the game lacks quality. It's just something that is always going to happen with anything that is radically original. My only criticism is that the game's monologue that's read from the little books really doesn't live up to the extraordinary standard set by the gameplay, art, and sound. But it's not the sort of game that needs one really. Anyway, buy it! I can't think of the last time I praised a game this highly
