Its quite expensive for two maps that you sit in and shoot at zombies. And sadly thats probably one of the more fleshed out games. Its not a contradiction, there are none in my posts, because I think about what Im saying not just raging.. Thanks to the iPad Guy for your thoughts, I agree, Steve Jobs is touting this as a game machine, but all I hear from the fanboys are "my device is old, i dont care about the new tech" or that its not meant from games.. Just another reason id be freaking out right now, as I buy the iPhone 4 and find there are NO games out for it... (lol?)
I see most of you still think that the Ipod can handle all these long games with these ultra cool graphics -.-
You really don't know how to express yourself huh? In my comments I said in regards to games. Sales wise the PSP ain't doing so well anywhere not named Japan. However that doesn't erase the fact that the games that have been coming out have been the best the handheld has ever seen.
Most people wouldn't. The most pervasive iDevice by far is the iPhone. Most people won't pay $20 for a game on their cell phone. Touch Arcade does not in any way represent the majority of iDevice users.

Great game, wheres the rest? Hodapp's law dictates I have $7 left for more content Even Steve Jobs is calling it a gaming machine.. yet where are the iPhone 4 games everyone was supposed to get after they rushed out and bought their iDevice? Maybe Steve should have said, "the iPhone/touch is a leader in games, that are WAY CHEAPO AND SHORT!! DONT COMPLAIN, SORRY NO GOOD GRAPHICS GAMES! Were supporting our 4 year old device, infact, we still have some lying around. Interested in bulk?" edit: Id be thinking, "Why the hell did I wait in that line, where are the games? This crap ran on my OLD ipod touch!! Facechat sucks, im ugly, Chatroullete is awkward anyway"
You say you would pay for a quality game, Nazi Zombies can easily be called a quality game, it's a direct port of the console version and I gladly paid for it as that is one of my favorite things to play on my 360. Theres no problem with the amount of games on the appstore or the quality of them, the problem is that you're a complete ****tard. There is a massive range of games, and gameloft is providing clones of famous ones. Then theres puzzlers, strategys, shooters, you name it, it exists on the app store.
Retina Display? Gyroscope Updates? Eliminate Gun Range? Hello? Do you even pay attention or even look specificly for the games?
Wanna know what I hate? It drives me CRazYy!!!! Green bananas. They look so much better then yellow ones, but they taste like CRAP!
Theres a freaking A4 chip in there, and all you can say is Retina Display? Who cares? The HD games are freaking ugly(Gameloft ones anyway, not my beloved Real Racing), the blur is an improvement. I dont even play Eliminate because I hate that game.. is the Gun Range part of the game or a cheapo gimmick? Plus I have an iPad, so all of that is a crappy gimmick to me.. I got the same powerhouse A4 that can land a spaceship on the moon see my post before yours
I didn't say it wasn't a gaming machine, I said most people won't pay $20 for a game on their phone. The most succesful games are the pick-up-and-play variety, Angry Birds, Doodle Jump, etc. As much as you might not like them, they are still in fact games, and they are the exact type of games that have made iPhone's/iPod's succesful as gaming platforms.
and Steve Jobs said the iPhone 4 is a gaming machine, where my 2nd gen is running them just fine.. and it is a gaming machine* and those are no way the games that made the iDevice successful gaming platforms. Early Gameloft games were; I remember when NOVA was freaking amazing; but now Gameloft has disappointed me enough.
Then go make your own DAMN game. Yes, go make a game similar to the "Avatar Experience". That movie had the best special effects in a movie first, so why dont you go have that on the Iphone?
