More thoughts on the game I just wanted to add also that I like the fact that it's not so Easy to bowl 300 as it shouldn't be. My scores have sometimes reflected My real life scores which is half of 300 More I play It the more I am liking it. What little IAP that's there is not necessary to play the game But is a good way to throw the devs a bone for creating A great game. Also background changing at the Lane would Be cool to add someday too. If you spend time with it and Know how to bowl you can get great spin on the ball and I Can even get my backspin I like to use. Can't wait for it to Drop on the store.

I was an avid bowler back in the day when my shoulders let me bowl. Every ball I rolled down the lane was considered a bomb. I had many 300 games and came very close to a perfect series (33 out of 36 possible strikes). I never said PBA challenge was realistic, only I find it a lot more fun I have not played every bowling game on the App Store but have played many and again I like PBA challenge the most. My own personnel oppinion
Workingman it's cool I respect your opinion. My not liking PBA has to do with it's failure to be more realistic, after all it is PBA.It would be like if Fifa and Madden added a bunch of unrealistic junk it wouldn't be what people who like the sport would actually want. Anyway happy gaming! I really feel like with some tweaks Bowling Central will be a great game. Look at other games by this dev and you will see they review very well.
I completely understand what you don't like about PBA and I also believe it would and could be better without the arcade aspect it has. You may find it hard to believe but I don't use the Bomb ball or the split ball at all. I like the satisfaction of actually picking up the spares and strikes on my own. I only wish they wound add some sort of meter for spin instead of tilting which would make it more challenging
By the way I can sympathize with the shoulder too. I can't throw a baseball anymore or bowl really as the pain is too much and i can risk hurting it more.

Totally Fair Price $2.99 is 100 percent fair for a great bowling game and at least in the test I am doing the IAP in no way gets in the way of enjoying the game for those who don't like IAP in a paid game doesn't bother me as long as it's not forced on the player without knowing but I find it's a good way to drop a good dev a bone.
