Not really. There is a fixed amount given for each wave, and each succeeding wave gives out a bigger amount.
Now Lv19. Slowly levelling up, farming the 3rd town's final boss. The spider boss drops some decent stuff, a couple ive already sold for 2000 a pop.
How do you sell things in game??? I've dropped tons of stuff to make room to pick up higher-level drops but can I sell instead?
You need to go back to town, head to the shop guy, and tap the second circular icon on the right side to sell stuff. Tap on the items you wish to sell, then tap Sell near the bottom right. Hope that helps.
Well, now that i've finished all quests (thanks to 2 random Lv19 guys i played with earlier today) i can say that Boss grinding is the best way to level up, and it gives some decent amount of cash as well, even if it isnt much, it still adds up. There isnt really a paywall per se, but the difficulty jumps too high when you get to the fourth town. That is where it gets tedious. Oh, and there's Simon in the third area too. I killed him solo when i was at Lv11, but it took me about 20 minutes just to kill one guy, coz i didnt have enough ammo to take him on, and I had to run circles a lot as my ammo regenerates, using my ammo regen+2% chip. Tis the best item you can get early, as it saves you money for not having to buy ammo anymore. So yeah, he's basically a wall, and from the previous version, he was also a tough nut to crack, but i took care of him in a multiplayer game. These things can be considered paywalls depending on how difficult you find the game to be. To me, it was definitely challenging, but a bit of grinding did most of it. Oh, as a tip, dont buy the most expensive weapons early on. Buy the green ones that are as high damage as possible, which is at your current level. When the enemies outlevel your weapon level, your weapon will deteriorate in effectiveness.
Will get when it's free. If it isn't as freemium as it appears, I'll buy a $2.99 pack. If this game is as it appears, I have no intentions of supporting it.
Im sure you have the most practical reasons of doing this, and this post isnt for you but for general iOS users, but this is one of those contributing factors that leaves devs (in general) no choice but to move on into the freemium model. People want to be practical and that is normal. But when one person TOFTT's and says something negative about a game, even though the good may outweigh the bad, there will be a part of the consumers that will wait it out. Eventually, this became a norm, and is what the iOS community is plagued with right now. So for small indie devs, their best option is to get their game to as many devices as possible, and try to take a chance at making a living with IAPs. This game is still pretty good as it is, despite the IAP push, but it doesnt mean IAP is necessary. I got the game for free with a code only to get it in advance, and I put in $5 in IAPs to support the game and it's one of the best FPS games i've played on iOS still. It isnt perfect, but im having a blast playing this. Finished the story mode with a Lv20 Soldier, and now have a Lv9 Sniper for my second playthrough. Multiplayer is a bit unbalanced right now, but it's still pretty cool playing coop, even if it is with random people for me.
Thanks for the tip about buying the most $$$$ I was getting my rear kick & stopped playing, that and I kept running out of ammo.
We will release a quick fix update 1.02 to: 1. make the game easier to advance 2. Reduce the price of equipments In next major updates ,we will make the drop loots better, adjust game diffuculty curve, add mithril reward and new contents. We realize part of designs are not appropriate, plz give us sometime to fox it.
I have a real bad problem with App Store. I just turned my iPad on and i saw this game was downloaded. I havent bought it or anything and it was showing on my device. I checked my account balance and it charged me. I didn't want this game. Im the only one that knows my password too.
Are you sure it's not the original Star Warfare: Black Dawn that you have and we're charged for? Otherwise you must have accidentally hit the purchase button, in which case, ask Apple for a refund. Apps don't just download themselves from the AppStore.
Never bought the first released one. The one that got taken off the app store. I just turned my iPad on and went to go to touch arcade app and it showed there.
I'm pleased to see that you are taking the feedback that was given into account. I'll be looking forward to the changes, since I really like the game, although the difficulty and drop rates/prices trouble me.
I understand your point, however for me if a game has no freemium currency/paywall and is premium, I generally buy it so long as it's interesting. I get that devs put optional money payments into the game so they can sustain themselves (eg Fruit Ninja), however bringing in another premium currency is generally where I draw a line.
