Was Bouncy Bit the first of its type on the app store? I'm curious because I know Bouncy Ninja cloned it and hit the top of the app store, leading to Ketchapp seeing it and making another clone called Don't Touch the Spikes. One tap games are easy to make but also have potential for a lot of downloads (especially if featured), so it's no surprise there are so many of them. You might not want to play them, but there are many players who do.
Yes, Bouncy Bit was the first as far as we are aware. The dates of release according to the TA forums release posts: Bouncy Bit: 2/20/2014 Don't Touch The Spikes: 7/16/2014 Bouncy Ninja: 7/22/2014 Clones happen and, while Bouncy Bit wasn't as successful as those that came after, it's hard to be upset knowing something you made became such a desirable source of inspiration.
