Hi everyone! Glad you found my post, we are keeping it low profile for the most part but Bounce On 2 is really starting to come along. Also a 5.1 update for Bounce On has been submitted to Apple about a week ago, it should fix most(hopefully all) the issues people have been having. As I said in my blog, we will be demoing off Bounce On 2 at Macworld, so if you're there be sure to come check it out!
Welcome hobbo78, You couldn't have picked a better forum to join if your at all interested in iPhone games. Touch Arcade is the best around for news related to the such. As for my times =). I have had Bounce On since day one of it's release, so hours of practice are under my belt. Most of my times can be beaten, as you just proven by beating my 5-1 time. It really is all about knowing the maps and applying the little jumps and shortcuts to cut down your time =). I haven't been playing that much lately, so guess I'll have to bounce back into it, haha. Now don't go beating all my times! I noticed you submitted the 5.1 update a week ago and have been waiting for it since. Hopefully, the user music issue I am having with my 3GS is fixed? Also, I enjoyed reading your little blog post about Bounce On 2 it answered many questions I had about the upcoming sequel. Thanks. BO2 will now doubt be a different experience, but I welcome it. One more thing, not sure what can be done, but have you taken a look at the Bounce On leaderboards? It seems some jailbrakers have overrun the top spots by posting times of 00.00....seriously? We all know those are not legit times, can anything be done? If not, no worries. Legit players can tell what times are real and which ones are not. It's just the principal of things =).
I got to play Bounce On 2 today at MacWorld. It's so much fun. It has some pretty awesome powerups too. I would have been happy to stay there all day and play. Can't wait! Team Phobic said March....counting the days.

Bounce On 5.1 was just approved by Apple so it should be showing up soon. It's mostly just bug fixes, so hopefully it will resolve some of the problems some people have been getting.
I'm so so jealous right now, would have loved to get my hands on Bounce On 2. Lucky You! Just got the update and everything seems fixed. All my achievements updated right away that didn't before this update (100% complete & 3 slots 100% complete). Also to my delight the problem with user music is now fixed. I can now have my iPod playing, open up Bounce On and have it continue to play. Thanks for this. I have been waiting a long long time for this option. Don't get me wrong, I love the music included with them game. Its just having played this game for so long and as much I have the music is imprinted in my brain. BTW, I love the sample track you have on your blog http://jonaswills.com/blog/ for Bounce On 2. It sounds simply amazing, love the techno feel. You guys at Team Phobic keep up the hard work!
Glad everything is working for you GoldenBoy! The score caching system has also been reworked so you shouldn't have problems with scores not submitting. We have gotten a few e-mails about the game crashing on launch and are investigating this right now. If you do have this problem please e-mail us ([email protected]) or post here what OS and device you are on, and if you know how to take crash logs off your device those will help us a TON! We think it might just be related to the update not completely coming through so it might just fix itself in a few hours.
I was so happy to sit and play it. While I was playing, I sat there and thought what I could offer Jonas to let me take one of his iPods home. I offered to beta test for them, and got a look: ha nice try, but you can have it in a few weeks, just be patience. heh. What is interesting is it's a little different (1) It's faster - yay!!! (2) the controls felt a little different. Not sure exactly why they felt so different. I think it had as much to do with the thinner iPod (I play on an iphone 3g). I'm sure I'll get it quickly. (3) it's hard. I asked for black levels and the controls felt different so it was hard to play. But the two levels I fooled around with looked to me more like 1-17 and 4-15 (that is the hard one....right?) than the easy black levels. (4) I played one of the bosses and it was so much fun and awesome. In the same league as the tree boss (I did not like the other bosses that much in Bounce On 1) (5) Jonas said there is lots of secret stuff to find. Yay! There is a space level that looked really, really cool. I did not get to play it much, but I liked it the most of all the new levels. It's so awesome! I'm so excited. I keep looking for a game I like as much as Bounce On and nothing really has come close and I feel like I've played every platformer on the iPhone (although Chop, Chop Ninja is amusing me these days and I liked Rolando 1 a lot) Thanks for the hard work Team Phobic, nice job on Bounce On 2!
Hey everyone! Bounce On 5.1.1 just got approved, it fixes a crash some users have been getting on startup.
Anybody else having trouble logging in to Plus+ with just Bounce On? My other games save my login name, even new ones have it. But when I went to try Bounce On, my login name was not there, so I entered it and the password and it says it's incorrect. Then I went to get my pw reset and it said my email address is on file but I'm 100% both the username and pw were correct as well as the email address.
We had a problem with the build so we have pulled the update and submitted a new one. With luck it will be approved as quickly as 5.1.1 was and will be out tomorrow. Very sorry for any problems this has caused anyone, we are very embarrassed by this!
Wow, glad I was at the gym and didn't get a chance to update. Knowing me I would have been pissed. Glad it was pulled before anyone else had problems. On a side note... I can't wait to dominate Bounce On 2 levels with the fireball! That power up looks wicked =)
I did not see the firepower when I played with it. I can't wait either. So, Jonas said March. Monday is March. Yay!
