Is that opening for a Chrismas wish list. Can we please get points for killing monsters and needed to kill the monsters to get gold metals. Also, I think you need better bosses. I love the tree, he is very cool. The Square was OK, interesting. But the last boss needed to be a little more interesting and harder to kill. Also, I like how Soosiz did the music from your ipod or from the game choose. that was cool. Oh, so my other wish is I think the ball needs a bit more character. While his is awesome, the Rolandos are just so much fun, hoping the ball could be more fun. And more black levels and secret passages. Lowering the price of the old game to get people hooked for Bounce On 2 to upsell them I bet. Hope this means Bounce On 2 is coming soon.
Haha, yea, was it that obvious? We are trying to make the bosses in Bounce On 2 a lot more fun, and this time you'll get to fight Drallo.... you know how hard it was to think of different attacks a piece of paper can do?
Well, yes, but I'm a marketer. Used that trick before. Works wonders. lol. Yeah, it's kinda hard. I was thinking how could you get a paper cut attack to work. But you know, paper could throw scissors, staples, sticky glue, and yes pointy sharp paper clips. Looking forward to Bounce On 2. Thanks for all the great work. How many worlds are going to be released in version 1 of Bounce On 2? Also, are you going to update Bounce On 2 like you did with the first one, as in releasing new worlds every once in awhile?
woo just tried this game and just bought it, great job, i have only just recently got into platforming games on my ipod and now i dont think there is a more fun genre on this platform bounce on, soosiz, rolando (plus its sequel), castle of magic, plushed, and now i want more (if anyone can recommend any, although i think those are the best) great job with the game and i cant wait for bounce on 2.
Welcome to the Bounce On world They are having an awesome sale, so I'm glad you picked it up. This game is worth a lot more IMO. This game and the Rolando series are all you need for your iPod Touch, if your into this genre.
Platformers on the iPhone rock. Bounce On is by far my favorite. But you are missing some of the classics. Try - Edge ( I think it's in iTunes now, it goes in and out, there is some trademark issue and lawsuits around it) Think this is the best of the ones you have not played. Edge is really good. it's up there with your list - FunkyBall is new and I actually really like what I've played of it - which is not much. Though, the controls are a bit different. You tap on the screen and then when you let go, you jump. The longer you hold the tap down, the higher your jump. - Archibald's adventure. This is a puzzle platform, but It's pretty fun. The lite version has a lot of content, so give it a try. - There is the Toy Bot and Spy Bot games. I did not like either, but others clearly do. If you like Puzzle platforms, try Toki Tori or Ice Age which I really enjoyed. But I still think Bounce On is the best game in the app store.
thanks i have EDGE, Ice Age, Toki tori, and the Toy Bot games already. been on a buying spree recently with this new found love for platforming got spy bot lite and archibald's lite too. will put funkyball on my list, hope for a lite or something first i think. thanks for your recommendations. have filled my ipod with as many of the best platformers i can think of and know i will get countless hours of fun. had no idea they could be so fun. any more anyone can recommend would be great (although i think thats pretty much it for quality games i guess)
I think you have the best ones, I've done a lot of searching for platformers in the App store. Not much of a gamer, but just found I really like platformers on the iPhone. I do think Funkyball has potential. I actually liked Bed Bugs (even though it was a little short). Since you like puzzlers too. Try Spikey and you know the other one I really, really liked (though it's not a platform), but a great game is Peggle which is worth a glance.
Bounce On 2 is going to launch with 3 complete worlds... but the worlds are bigger than Bounce On, the game flows a little differently so it's hard to compare. I don't want to comment on how we are going to be updating it until be make some more decisions on that matter.
Also take a look at Bed Bugs. It is short, but it's a totally addicting hour. Yay! three worlds. How about a release date.
I also forgot to mention there is also a "bonus" world, with a bunch of much harder levels, you find them inside of levels throughout the game. As for the release date... when it's done I'd also like to say to anyone out there that has seen the game crash please be sure to sync your iPhone/iPod and when it asks if you want to send information to Apple hit yes, we get this crash data and it is very useful for fixing bugs we might not even know about.
I am actually very curious as to how different Bounce On 2 is from the original. Hopefully, a video or a more in-depth explanation comes soon. I just hope it isn't a totally different experience than the first. It hurts to admits this, but after seeing the screenshot of Bounce flying in a parachute it doesn't look that impressive. What I mean is the graphics of that one screenshot look horrible. The others looks great though. All I'm hoping for is the basic core playing style is the same as the first. The player has to collect all the diamonds, race against the clock.
Problems w/ Plus+ Leader Boards Ok, so this is getting real annoying. It has been happening for a week now and I was hoping it would fix itself. So, after completing a level and having that time posted to the leader boards, if I play the same level again it does not update my time to the leaderboards. What is strange is when the update first came out it worked fantastically, now horribly. Is this some kind of bug? Anyone else having trouble posting multiple times to the same level in Bounce On or even any other Plus+ game? Yes, I am connected to the internet at the time of play and I have also tried to log out/in of Plus+. PS: @ Jonaswills - is this a known bug or something else?
