The number on the back of the card is their jersey number (or the card number, promo cards will be different like "1P"). We're planning to support more stats in the future too - of course baseball is all about stats =)
Hows the battery?is it as bad as sentinels? Becausenof the battery drain i only play sentinel on ipad not iphone
Bottom of the 9th uses a more advanced UI system and also includes several options to reduce battery usage. We haven't run detailed tests but I think it uses less battery than Sentinels. Those who have been playing it feel free to let us know your experiences!
I'm super addicted to this game. Just had based loaded 2 outs and I crushed it with a natural 6. Once full games and stat tracking come out I'll be in heaven #
I think the only things I dislike are the tiny font and running. I've made contact on at least 30 pitches and only won 1 running roll. The batter should have a better chance to get a hit. Also some of the abilities are hard to understand and read. Is there somewhere online with more explanation? I still can't put the game down though#
Agree about the abilities, it's not clear what some of them do and sometimes I'm just selecting them to see what they do! With the running, I've turned off real-time contact and use the turn-based one. I find I'm probably winning about half the runs. It's less frantic with constant rolls but for me it doesn't lose any intensity/drama. Love this game, it's so polished and the length of games are perfect to pick up and play whenever I want. Looking forward to all the stats and updates
Turn based much better! Also had the shortest game. I crushed a HR with the first batter...first pitch. My first HR too#
You can tap the player bar at the bottom of the screen to bring up the full card with larger text, and tap on the card again to zoom it in to be even larger.
its not very clear for me which token i ll get after the roll. if we choose opposite direction, how token are given ? why i got the white for example ?
Each player chooses tokens. For each one, if the batter guesses the same as the pitcher, the batter gets the token. If the batter guessed wrong, the pitcher gets the token.
Is there a place with a quick reference guide? I did the tutorial but still don't understand many of the mechanics.
Can anyone or the dev explain how 'kick the dirt' works when you're fielding? It looks like you roll to challenge the call but what numbers need to be rolled to overturn the call? Can't find it mentioned in the rule book at all
"Kick Some Dirt" is an ability provided by the Dice Dixon support character, and so the details are provided on his card.
