http://www.borderlandsthegame.com/ Anyone pick this up today? I did. Next week it comes out on PC, I believe. So far, it's pretty cool, alot of looting, alot of shooting, it has sort of a Fallout-WoW feel. I like it alot.
Preordered it for the PC about 2 weeks ago, I think it's Bull that we have to wait 6 days extra to play it. But whatever, i can wait.
I lost track of time playing it, played it for like two hours, I'm level 8 right now. It's really fun.

The game is great, I really recommend it. IMO, much better gameplay than Fallout 3 (but the story isn't as intriguing, or atleast as of now it isn't).
If you like FPS buy it becuase it is a great game there are so many guns it insane the Co-OP is also a nice feature because you can find someone doing a hard mission finish it with them exit online and go play your game with the mission completed The story is lacking but its there your on an planet called Pandora looking for a vault its also a very challenging FPS and will keep you busy for hours I think im going to buy the strategy guide for this soon i bought this game Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legends all at the same time and I haven't really played them becuase this one is so great
Looks like my next purchase will be this, though I'm still not sure... After that all I'll be getting anytime soon is Modern Warfare 2 and Mass Effect 2(January I think). Unless I'm forgetting something..
Thats my list, I made it around 2/3 weeks ago, so there are some cross offs, but these are all the games coming out for Christmas! I'm not getting them all, I'm just making sure I know what's coming. We should have a PS3/360 thread
OoO Left 4 Dead 2. I'll be getting that and mayyybe Assasins Creed 2, even though the first one wasn't all that great and I don't think I even beat it.
I've been playing Borderlands the past few days (in between Uncharted 2, Rock Band 2, Brutal Legend and Demon's Souls ) and it's pretty good... but if you have no friends, you might wanna think harder about how much you enjoy grinding. There's basically no story and the gameplay is highly repetitive... but it's the kind of repetition that can be awesome fun if you're playing with the right people.
