I thought these memory apps couldn't actually free up memory anymore (thanks to Apple), only monitor it. What does the refresh button do?

You can't over charge an iPhone.

It looks nice, but I can't see a use for it.

wanted to try but still waiting for a promo code....

EDIT: got it already. Thanks and I will leave my thoughts here.

EDIT2: From what I see here, it does help freeing up memory but I have no idea whether that is real or not. It is an useful tool but I wish that the memory section could add more info like how much memory used by a particular app. But again, that might be against the apple rule. Also, what is "Wired" , and the definition of "inactive" in the "memory" tab? Would appreciate if the developer could explain this.

Thanks! Please leave your thoughts here and let others know how it work!

BTW, you can press 'Refresh' button several time if you want more free memory.

To summarize, wired memory is used by the system; active memory is used by currently running applications; inactive memory was used by recently closed applications, which allows them to reopen quickly, and free memory is unused.

SURE, it DOES free up the memory what you see. Not believe? you can try to play a game and see! or you can use other tools to check the free memory.

It is simple to check how many free memory (there are a lots of tools there can do that).
