    Hey Guys,

I know there are ton's of music threads here but I don't feel like bumping them up. What I am here to ask is this simple favour: Please suggest unto me new music. I know a lot of music... not to be cocky or anything. I just love music plain and simple. I know a good deal of bands, but I do not know all of the good gems out there. So muster up your most prized and sacred bands of ANY genre of music save for Contemporary Country. The more indie or underground (label-wise, not just music-wise), the better the chance I don't know them and thus my mission is complete. lol thanks again guys. Also include what kind of music they are and that kind of stuff. Thanks!

    Cursive.

    Recommended songs:
    A Gentleman Caller
    From the Hips
    Art is Hard
    Am I Not Yours?
    The Great Decay
    The Casualty
    Fairytales Tell Tales
    In The Now
    Recluse
    Hyms for the Heathen
    The Lament of Pretty Baby
    A Red So Deep

And I don't know what kind of music they are, not good with genres.

Cursive is awesome. Really dig their album "The Ugly Organ". I would consider them Indie Rock. But yeah I know of them =/ Thanks for the suggestion though brah!

Yeah I've been into them since about 2002. They are a wonderful band! Keep lookin though! If you liek them, im interested in seeing what else you got for me.

That song is pretty incredible. ROFL dude my favourite parts of the video are when the black guy jumps against fence in those little shorts and when he does a flip over the bar LMFAO priceless.

Did you know he is coming out with another album or some shit? I mean come on... lmao

Here we go! While I am not a fan of Reliant K, I have never heard of those other bands. I will check them out immidiately.

Oh and Burton? F*CK Kanye West. It's all about the Lupe Fiasco ;)

Yeah some of these bands aren't very "unknown". Just off the top of my head since my iPod seems to not want to turn on(uh oh). I might have more once I get home.

The bold I have heard of and Wolfparade, Murderdolls and Skindred are definitely up there in my favourites. Especially Wolfparade. If I am not mistaken Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse and Ugly Casanova recorded some of their stuff. It's really good.

By the way when I said Indie or Underground, I mean't label type, not music type. It's ok if it's not INDIE music. lol but I do love me some Indie music no doubt. Used to be real into it in High School. Now I am more of a Melodic Death Metal band kind of guy but like I said, I listen to EVERYTHING.

Edit: Listened to that 10 Years band and I have heard that Wasteland song before but I had no idea who it was. Not a bad song though!

Yes, I listen to them avidly. AotP, Jedi Mind Tricks, Apathy, Celph Titled, all that shit. That's my kind of rap. All that Philly based four four banger shit.

Edit: Forgot about Esoteric. His shit is mad. And Planetary OS.

Glad there is someone out there who likes that sh!t too.

Edit #2: You can say shit and it isn't censored? rad! hahahaa

Newgrounds is the answer to all your music needs. There are many great songs in their audio portal - and of every genre

    For techno/d&b/trance/etc. I would recommend

    Paragonx9
    Dimrain47
    Cornandbeans
    Waterflame

Yes! I need more techno suggestions. While it's one of my favourite types of music to make, it's one of the few genres of music I don't have a lot of artists in. Thanks man!

Edit: Dude Paragonx9 is f*cking mad! I love it! Chaos Airflow is probably one of the sickest techno songs i've ever heard.
