This game is so fire I can't believe it made me write this sentence. From the beginning to the controls, it does have a slight learning curve. But it's so worth that curve once you start getting better and affording the various upgrades presented between levels. That's when the game becomes more and more addicting. As well as the tough gameplay I have to say kudos on the rogue-like or lite elements. You die and you're dead, which is the best way to sharpen your skills for the next run. I hope this game moves back up the Hot Games list as it deserves more attention. I would love to see the game get some more content down the road. Not sure what content I would want that to be though as I haven't finished it yet. Maybe a couple more ships, levels etc. My only complaint is the icon to the game is far to simple for the stellar gameplay hidden beneath it. But maybe that was your plan all along.
Dev any chance there can be like a sensitive slider ? Trying to fly near the top of the screen to chase guys or anything is often very difficult I don't even bother flying up there, maybe a sensitive slider would be sweet because it minimizes your thumb having to flop all over the screen and be really controlled movements , I don't know, let me know your guys thoughts =]
That is for sure possible. An alternate control setup is also planned for the next update. Personally, I boost all the time. You don't take damage while boosting. Dodge bullets and mine explosions. Safely boost past enemies and come up behind them.
Just got 785!!! Wow I guess I got the hang of it out of no where, now I'm 3rd on leaderboards but the people on top of me have crazy numbers, dev can you tell me if any of those scores are real or not ??
Wow, ok well I'm shooting to take 2nd place but that first place... Ehhhhh. But I guess who knows, before today I couldn't even get higher then 75 =p
It's kinda a roguelike, you beat a level then it'll bring you to a shop where you can spend your money on upgrades (I guess kinda like your level ups) then you pick the next level you want to travel to
The 3800 score is mine!!! It's the real deal! I just had a great run and opened the whole map. Was running a couple upgrades simultaneously # I almost finished! It's a lot like FTL when you get the right weapons #
