It’s a side-scrolling 2D ,platform, beat ém up in the style of Double Dragon and Golden Axe, and with a smidgen of Street Fighter and a sprinkle or two of creatine, and some grey-legal-area performance enhancing chemicals imported from Eastern Europe. It can bench-press 150kg. In each hand. As a warm up. Only people who are proper d@*ses, with slow cars and unattractive girlfriends do not like it. It’s actually hilarious. I met this girl on voice chat while playing GTA Online a few years back. We became friends. We still are, even met IRL a few times. She has the same accent. She lives in London but is from Johannesburg, South Africa. I have to share this trailer with her as I always do when something reminds me of her, like watching District 9, Chappie or listening to Die Antwoord. EDIT: “Mega-schweet faaghting video game. The schweetest and most tit flippin’ game you’ve ever checked in your laaf, boet.” Seriously, I’m already downloading through tears from laughing out loud. Quoad Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2015 1,108 217 63 #4 Quoad, Nov 23, 2019 Would heartily recommend a year or so of listening to Die Antwoord as one positive way of addressing this. I also met a girl online ages ago who lived in Amsterdam but was originally from South Africa. We also bonded over Die Antwoord, Chappie and District 9 among many other unique things. South African accent is the best. She was one of the most amazing and wonderfully crazy people I ever met. Thank you for inadvertently bringing back the memories. And to everyone else, I apologise for the off topic. Edit: Those trailers are definitely worth watching, very funny. macplash likes this. Felt like fighting with paper cutouts. I think haptic feedback on the action buttons would do wonders to fix that but naturally there’d have to be an option to turn it off. Oh, and of course the game doesn’t have auto-rotation and is locked in the “notch to the left” rotation. Royce Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2011 4,240 180 63 #10 Royce, Nov 24, 2019 It was an accidental early release. It will be back on the 28th. Nicely done brawler with a pretty funny theme and excellent graphics. I appreciate the longer stages, and the boss fights so far have all brought something new to the mix. Ended up paying for the premium unlock. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #16 metalcasket, Nov 28, 2019 Awesome. You’ve given me the incentive to try this out a second time. Downloading now. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve watched the trailer in the last week. Curious: Has the auto-rotation (or lack thereof) issue been addressed? squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,715 1,240 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #17 squarezero, Nov 28, 2019 Yep. Works as expected now. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #18 metalcasket, Nov 28, 2019 Yep, just fired it up. I’m kinda in disbelief, to be quite honest. Not only was auto-rotation added in and there’s a completely day and night difference in the controls, but I’m almost certain the developers have been keeping an eye on this thread because haptic feedback was indeed added, and it really does bring the entire thing to life. Throwing a fiver at them with absolutely no hesitation! Royce Well-Known Member Mar 22, 2011 4,240 180 63 #19 Royce, Nov 28, 2019 I sent them the link for this thread when I asked them if the early release was a mistake, and mentioned that the controls were not well received.
