    Looks great. Takes me back to my Dreamcast days sigh!. I just had a question. Is the game RPG or you just simple navigate the bunny to the final place?

    Love it!! I guess I always loveanything that reminds me of Sonic, Mario Bros, Bubsy, or Alex Kidd - even only the sound or the graphic style, lol.

    Hi Slayer,

    basically, you need to complete 6 "worlds". There is a story mode and a hub worldmap. However, one world is the collection of 10 levels and 2bonus rounds. Each level is solved by getting to that final place. When you beat a world, you get an item, used to finish story mode. You need all 6 items to see the ending. We included some nice bonus items, shop, npc talk & cutscenes.

    Interesting. From the looks of it, will take some time to beat. I will definitely check it once it releases. btw when does it hit the appstore?

    looks pretty cool. Is it a bit like pathways? As in is it necessary to get all the carrots? and is there any reason why you got them in that order and not just free roam and get all quick? Looks good, I'll be sure to check it out! Good luck with your first app!

    I don't like the controls. A game like this should have a control scheme similar to Mouse About. Take a look at the discussion regarding Mouse House on this board.

    @Paulino:
    This particular level is quite easy and there is no requirement to collect the carrots in a particular order. However, later in the game you really need to think where to go first, to get them all. There are lots of riddle elements. We will show more of the game in an upcoming official trailer.

    @Oliver:
    Controls Info:

    Control Bobby by touching the corresponding borders of the screen.
    Up/Down movement is also possible, by touching the upper left/right
    and lower left/right edges. We think it makes the perfect controls
    for this game.

    To enter the ingame-menu, turn the device to portrait mode
    To activate zoom mode: touch the center of the screen.

    This control scheme sounds interesting. I'll try it. But I must buy it because my gf loves Bobby Carrot and is missing it on her iPhone ;)

    Just a quick update on the release:
    We decided to push it to January and are holding the game back a little, because of the recent amount of AAA titles appearing on the App Store. We give it a little time to settle, the december has been a great month for all iphone/iPod touch users already. Hope you have some carrots left for our rabbit hero soon :D

    And I love Rolando, btw! Great game ;)

    Wishing all of you Toucharcades a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

    Hi,

    The game looks great. I would caution that you should look into the control system that Loopy Laboratory (iPhone) offers. And Mouse House just recently added.
    http://toucharcade.com/2008/12/16/mouse-house-controls-much-improved-only-099/

    A swipe to move a single step, and swipe-hold to provide continuous movement.

    The reason I say is that previously, Mouse House offered a directional tap which I (and some others) found unuseable. I couldn't keep playing the game because of those controls. Pathways suffers from the same issue.

    Hi Game Reaper, hi Arn,

    thanks for your comments. The game will be 7.99$, offering 15+ hours of fun. Don´t worry about repetitive levels, each of the 60 levels delivers a whole new challenge and look. It will feel like a true puzzle adventure game.

    Thanks Arn, for the warnings on controls. You can really trust us here: I have played Mouse House and Loopy Laboratory. Both work good. I have also played Pathways which doesn´t work well. But you will find out that the Bobby Carrot controls are nothing less than fantastic. You have a big chunk of all borders of the screen for the controls. You do not have to touch next to the character. You can hold your iphone just like a PSP and use both thumbs to fluently control the character. You can stop anytime by taking the thumbs from the display.

    We like the cinematic aspect to have full screen beauty - no interface on screen. And you can still control to any direction without covering important areas of the screen.

    Here is a preview from the tutorial screen:
    [IMG]

    As you can see you can also touch the upper/lower edges to go up/down. And the area is even a little bigger as seen on tutorial screen. Its very comfortable.
