I have been trying to get more out of the... 5 minute 'flash game' type of gaming on my phone, but damnit - it's kinda hard to with all the great little casual score chasers on the iOS. =oP Looks like my accounts another dollar down. Here's the link to the lite version; https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bobbing-get-addicted-edition/id601826256?mt=8 ** and... first impressions - I'm only 4 levels in, but the mix of gravity shifting and polarity changing is great! I wouldn't really compare it to something like Polara... but more like Gravity Guy with a polarity aspect. You run through spinning stages while trying to collect all of the items while not touching the yellow parts of the level or running into walls. While doing this, you can change the gravity (though not in the air like Gravity Guy, don't know if this is because later levels are dependent on making and sticking with your gravity decisions or if it's something that will become frustrating, but I'm liking the no-grav-change-while-in-the-air) - and to pass through parts of the level (barriers/platforms) you'll need to change from blue to red and back again. Left side of the screen controls the gravity while the right controls the color. Definitely glad I took a chance on it - looks like it's definitely a nice game so far. LittleBobby Well-Known Member Oct 31, 2010 67 0 0 #3 LittleBobby, Feb 28, 2013 Thanks for such a fast impressions! Really nice to see this And edited my post accordingly regarding the Polara reference, also added the link to the free version. By the way, the free version is waaaaay easier than the paid one. Thanks again! P.S. If it's not too late I posted some Promo code in the forum section about ... promo code! sweetdiss Well-Known Member Jun 15, 2009 1,743 5 38 #4 sweetdiss, Feb 28, 2013 I just tried the free one and I have to say, it's really great! I'll probably get the paid one later today. Two questions: 1. Does this have (or will it get) iCloud support? I loves me some cross-device syncing. 2. Could you consider an endless mode? LittleBobby Well-Known Member Oct 31, 2010 67 0 0 #5 LittleBobby, Feb 28, 2013 1. Never thought about it but will surely check it as soon as we can. 2. Already on the work sweetdiss Well-Known Member Jun 15, 2009 1,743 5 38 #6 sweetdiss, Feb 28, 2013 Played a lot of the lite version and enjoyed it quite a bit. Then I played the paid version and had to stop after five levels just to come here and say everyone NEEDS this game. Really awesome art style (I love the little touches like the bands in the bottom right jiggling when you change polarity) and the music is badass. The gameplay itself is phenomenal, especially (as mentioned earlier) if you liked Polarity or Gravity Guy. Setting the game in a giant spinning wheel somehow makes those mechanics feel fresh again, too. Man I'm just really digging this one. Can't wait for the endless mode, and I hope you guys do look into iCloud. : ) Really fantastic job overall, especially for a first game! I can't wait to see what you guys do next. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #7 syntheticvoid, Feb 28, 2013 Any chance you can make it so that you automatically sign into GC on startup instead of having to tap the GC icon every time you start up the game? LittleBobby Well-Known Member Oct 31, 2010 67 0 0 #8 LittleBobby, Feb 28, 2013 Sure! It's a great frantic platformer with a color switching mechanic (think gates) and gravity switching. Things get crazy when you start hitting multiple teleports in a level, as well as fast color switching. I agree with synth in wanting GC to sign on automatically, like a lot of games do. And also, the only thing this game is really missing is an endless mode. So that you're presented randomly generated levels that start off easy and get harder, maybe throwing in an additional color at intervals to up the difficulty. sink_or_swim Well-Known Member Feb 4, 2012 3,504 5 38 Germany #11 sink_or_swim, Mar 1, 2013 I completely agree with everything that strivemind said. This is a great game and it is hard even in the first levels. Seems like I'm really bad at it but I played the second and third level multiple times until I got a perfet score. GC auto log-in would be cool and of course an endless mode. awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #12 awp69, Mar 1, 2013 Fantastic game. If you liked Polara, you'll love this one too. It's got some different mechanics and gameplay that make it different from Polara (and of course, the whole circular runner thing going on. Highly recommended! LittleBobby Well-Known Member Oct 31, 2010 67 0 0 #13 LittleBobby, Mar 1, 2013 About the difficulties, next update will include the remaining 14 level to complete the "classic pack" which we might rename hard/extreme. Then we want (it's almost finish) to add level pack with different difficulties for more casual gameplay. Once you tap Play, you will be asked what pack you want to play in. First one will be the Easy Pack and will feature 30 levels. Then later Medium, Hard, Extreme and the famous Endless mdoe We still need to think about how it's going to be tho. Thanks for you feedback! Some of them will be added in the next update, I'll keep you updated. We've been playing so much, so it kind of became a reflex to play. That said, don't desesperate, you will become good! That's actually a feeling that I like from game. But that's why we are focusing on the easy level pack first. So in 1-2 weeks you'll have some fun I guess... kidding syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #18 syntheticvoid, Mar 1, 2013 Yeah, I thought that the difficulty was perfect. After the easy level pack will you work on a more difficult mode? Maybe Impossible? Or maybe call these ones hard and make the extreme pack harder? =oP Dying for some more hardcore challenges on the iOS.... sorry. I know you've already promised a lot of content for this little gem... so I'll totally understand if it's a no for now. =oP copaeci Well-Known Member Nov 2, 2012 1,606 0 0 student, writer, reviewer, beta tester ID http://about.me/yesi.livera #19 copaeci, Mar 1, 2013 You're right, that's feeling i like that too , this game has good replay value for me. I have to finish the 14 last(only one missing) and it will give a good example of what you can expect from the Hardcore pack. But as of now no body saw them, 86 is close but not quite as hard. Once the setup is done for 1 pack it's gonna go fast on the level. But the impossible one takes realllly long to test as you can guess, so I'll do my best Let me know when you reach the end game (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
