I posted a "brief" explanation of all the various aspects of Blue Attack.

I hope it helps you people choose upgrades!

For those who already have a set or favourite strategy, I'd love hearing what you like to upgrade first!

Do you max out wingmen like the auto-upgrade wants you to? Or do you go for weapons? Or do you need strafe right off the bat? Do you get force blast early on?

    I wanna know! :)

I clearly go for Force Blast early! really love the effect and its oh so satisfying!

And because I don't have such a good grip on the controls yet, I often go for as much fire power as possible instead of speed.

As I learn the controls and make a set working well for me I would love to make some kind of speedy, sniper with lots of bombs! (and force blast)

I also love to increase fire power and fire rate first.
Alsways having around 10 bombs per level and also upgrading their power.
Next ist speed and fast turn. And then always adding some lifes.
But I rather don't go with the wingmen....two is enough for me now, love to be small but powerful :)

My Person Robot got me thinking of a strategy.

completely quitting the Wingman thing. For the most part its just a single gun more and a waaaaay bigger chance of losing a life (costing you what could have been 3 bombs!)

So I tried selling all my wingmen at first chance I got! Going for 4 canons and as high damage on my own ship as possible.

With this strategy I had a much smaller thing to maneuver and much less to look out for and it sure was a valid strategy!
When I died I had 36 damage pr. cannon (4 canons) firing @ 10 shots pr. sec.

I had a good first wave and at Wave 2 I could pretty much just fly straight though enemies shooting my way though bits AND core! Awesome!
This strategy doesn't seem over-powered but is a very valid alternative to the Wingman-power-up-thing I tried before! Try it people! Forget your Wingmen! they only suck up lives!

I raise my ships attack power first then the amount of guns on the ship, hardly touch the speed and control upgrades. I will add more wingman near the end as they really help once they have 2 guns on their ships.

Was that website designed in 1999 or something?
Haha, jk. Congrats on making a great game; I'll probably pick it up if I don't win a promo code at various sites :)

I sell the upgrades that come standard that focus the shots... this frees up some $ and plus i like the shotgun spread better than the laser beam

plus i have to have that strafe option! wish that came standard on my ship :)
