Any chance of this getting the auto next-round button from monkey city?

 

Just picked up the HD version on sale it doesn't seem to have much recognition here but other places have listed it saying it's very good so I'll give it a shot for its tiny price.

 

Go for it! One of the all-time best tower defense games (and I say that in spite of not liking the theme). Mass quantities of creeps, interesting towers and upgrades, and a ton of maps.

 

Does it open up more? So far I've only done 2 matches but it gives off a freemium vibe and there's just so so much in the game it seems and with it pushing doubling your cash and buying IAP cash.

Is the game fine without any of that?

 

Yes, I see no need to buy any IAP. You can unlock more stuff without it.

 

Thanks, I'll give it more of a chance then. I couldn't help but feel like IAP's were pretty in your face with it so had to ask.

 

I'm a big TD fan and can't believe I've missed this. Picked it up for my new iPhone 6 yesterday and can't put it down. Tons of towers, stages, and upgrades. Belongs in every TD fans collection.

 

Can someone help me?

I can't seem to find the track select screen. I am given options of a new game, multiplayer, resume game, special missions, daily missions, odyssey, and random. No ability to just select a track and play from whatI can see.

That's what New Game is. You must choose a track to start a new game.

 

Thanks. I guess I was confused by the number 4 on the New Game icon - it looks like there are only 4 games you can play before a timer, or ?? Kicks in to prevent you from playing much.

 

Not sure what that number might be. Maybe it's a badge showing how many new maps have been added by the latest update?

(My version has no play timer/limits; but there may be some other version?)
