Ok, So I'm in. I never played a bloon game before but Shmups are my thing. I'm now to level 4. 2 quick things: Where is the sensitivity control options? I can't find them anywhere nor a relative control option. It's not controlling the way I like it. This really needs to be put in a game like this. It feels sluggish. I'd love to see a currency doubler IAP. I'll buy it. I won't do consumable IAP but I'll buy a red and blue currency doubler for sure and if it doubles the opt in ads I'll watch those as well. If you make it worth my while you'll make money from me. That's it for now. I'm trying to understand all of the new stuff that just unlocked in the game. This destroys this but not that. How will I know what to use for a level?? To be honest I feel overwhelmed. Billy
Deep Gameplay Once again another awesome game from Ninja Kiwi. My Year is not complete without playing one of your fresh games! This game has depth and it really requires a lot of strategy in your Super Monkey Build. Adding like pets ( agents ) would also be great!
Yep! The game has been completely redesigned for mobile with an overhaul of all levels and powerups, and has a completely different economy and weapon tuning. Not to mention the updated 3D graphics
My thoughts so far (currently on level 32): There's a lot to like about this game. Lots of different weapons/weapon configurations, a satisfying upgrade system, and interesting enemy formations. Power-ups are also very plentiful, and it doesn't feel like you have to hoard them for boss levels- you can earn up to 3 per level, and can use 2 per level, so ideally you'd never run out. The double currency system is also cool (red on first kill of an enemy, blue on subsequent playthroughs). My main gripe is difficulty (or lack thereof). I earned silver on my first playthrough of most levels, occasionally gold. There's no real "challenge" on non-boss levels, since you can't lose as far as I can tell. I'll have to see if the difficulty ramps up for the last levels. Still a highly recommended game, but if you're looking for a challenging SHMUP you might be disappointed.
Is there a setting to change the super monkey movement to follow the direction of your finger but not actually where your finger is? For example if the monkey is toward the top of the screen you can move it left and right moving your finger at the bottom of the screen? Makes it easier to see what's going on. If not you guys should consider adding that, otherwise it's great so far!
There's no option for this just now (it was designed in such a way that your hand/finger doesn't get in the way of what you're doing as much), but I'll pass on the suggestion. Could be cool to add an option to change the sensitivity for tracking your movement
