Unofficial Guide for Bloody Western v1.0.2 Introduction I hope this comprehensive guide will serve as a reference for all ye daring souls, aka TA'ers. Loggin In Users who logged in as a guest can change to their facebook account in 'Options'. I recommend using FaceBook to log in to safeguard loss of progress and allow continue play on another device. And while your are in Option, enable skip Quest Animation to speed gameplay. Safety Box Any gold that is not deposited in the Safety Box can be robbed. Treat this like a save game or a term paper (always save your progress periodically) or American Express (don't leave home without it). Why? Sure you will lose 14% in commision but the peace of mind of no one robbing you is well worth the small price to pay. Table of Contents How to Play There are 2 parallel goals in this western themed online role-playing game. Ultimately, your aim is to become the most wanted player by ranking up with Fame points through dueling. In order to do so, you also need to level up with experience (EXP) points. Gold Take gold from your opponent by gambling, dueling or through business. Player Level & EXP 5 skill points are given every time you reach a new level. Use skill points to increase your levels of action, health, and duel. Skill points can also be used to improve your levels of Attack and Defence. Earn experience points by duelling your fellow players. Always try to level up just as Action points are depleted to avoid unnecessary waiting. Spending skill points on Action points asap. Faction Each of the three classes have different abilities. The luxurious, greedy class earn an additional 1% gold when a quest is completed. The upright, diligent class take 10 seconds less to get your action points recharged. The violent, devilish class take 10 seconds less to get your combat points recharged. Raising both your offensive and defensive skills will increase your chances of victory. Personal recommendation would be Righteous Sheriff. Action point is the most desirable attribute. Sheriffs by far outnumber outlaws so they always win in events. Action point You must have the required action points to carry out the quest. By far the most important for leveling up fast. Move point You must have the required movement points to visit other villages. Duel point You can't duel another player unless you have the required duel points. Health point You can't duel unless you have the required health points. Rank & Rare Rank Acquiring a certain rank will make you a "Wanted" player. Other players will be offered a reward for defeating you. (You will be worth more) The server assigns the bounty. Fame & notoriety More reputation (fame/notoriety) points are awarded for defeating an opponent who is stronger than you. Less reputation (fame/notoriety) points are awarded for defeating an opponent who is weaker than you. Reputation (fame/notoriety) points depend on the result of your duels. These reputation points determine your title. Quest Every quest has 4 stages in total. Complete them all to reach Mastery. You will be rewarded every time you master a quest. Clearing the quests that grant the most experience first is one of the quickest ways to level up. You must have equipped the required equipment in order to access a quest. You must have more friends in order to access the quest. Duel The outcome of a duel depends on the offensive and defensive skills of you and your opponent, as well how you play the mini game. The mini game is all about timing. You can duel players on the same side. Touch the screen when the circle overlaps with a target (bullet). The difficulty of the minigame changes depending on the ranking of you and your opponent. Your Duel opponents are matched to your level. However, you can always find lesser ranked opponents in your friends list. Only Duel when you can win. Touch the red target asap helps a little. Bloody Tips Pay less Gold to recover your health - When you fight on a Duel and or Rob someone, your Health will also drop by a certain amount. If you still got some Duel Points left but got almost no Health Points, you will not be able to play a Duel match or Rob someone. You can still easily refill your Health Points by going in the Refresh menu and using the Lodge. In the Lodge, you can choose from 50% Health Recovery or a Full Health Recovery. Each option cost Gold. The cost of Gold will depend on how many Gold you have on your Hand. Now, to avoid paying more Gold to recover your Health to Full, here is a great tip that will save you a lot of Gold. First, if you got a lot of Gold in your hand, deposit all your Gold in the StrongBox located in the Refresh menu. Now, withdraw 1,000 Gold in the StrongBox or you can just leave 1,000 Gold when you deposit. Now go to the Lodge. You can now see that the Gold cost is reduced to only 500 Gold for 50% Health Recovery and 1,000 Gold for a Full Health Recovery. Buy whichever you want but I still suggest for a full Health Recovery since it's pretty cheap. 500 Gold for 50% Health Recovery and 1,000 Gold for a Full Health Recovery is the lowest cost you can get for both. Just always do this method if you need to recover your Health Points to avoid paying more. Another tip to earn a lot of Notorious Points - In Duel mode, you can mostly earn 20-27 Notorious Points after each match if you win. You can mostly earn 20 Notorious Points if you Duel with the same Faction. You can earn 25-27 Notorious Points if you Duel with the opposing Faction and it will depend on the rank. To earn a lot of Notorious Points, you must first find someone who is 15 Ranks or more ahead of you. You should also check the Rank List I've posted or check m13's Rank List to see the ranks. Now, you can either choose in the Duel menu and see if there are players ranked 15 Ranks ahead of you or you can simply go to the World Ranking and add the players Ranked in there as a Friend and Duel with them by going to your Friend List and clicking on their information. This way, you can gain 55 Notorious Points each win. You must also check if the one you're Dueling with is an opposing Faction (Outlaw vs Sheriff) to gain this much Notorious Points. If not, you will only gain few Notorious Points. I'll show you an example of what I mean.. In the image above, PRINCESS is ranked Heart Breaker which is Ranked 15 Ranks higher than mine. My Rank is SNIPER as seen in the image below. After winning a Duel match with her, I gained 55 Notorious Points like in the image above. After a couple of Duel, I've gained another Rank like in the image below. Now I've tried to Duel with PRINCESS again with my new Rank which is 14 Ranks Below her and only receive 27 Notorious Points after winning like in the image below. This shows that you can only gain higher Notorious Points if you Duel with a player that is 15 Ranks higher than yours. This also goes if you Duel with a 15 Ranks Lower than yours, you will only get lesser Notorious Points. More information about the white and red cowboy icon - You can see this cowboy icon in the Friend List, World Ranking and in the Duel. The color represents their Faction. A White Cowboy Icon represent a Sheriff Faction. The Red Cowboy Icon represent the Outlaw Faction. You should pay attention to this icon if you also want to gain more Notorious Points in the Duel. More information about Friends - Ever wonder what the other number inside the bracket in your friend's status means? It is the one located in your MY STATS like in the image above. The number in the bracket means your number of Friends with the same Faction as yours. It is the total friends you have on your Friend's List with the same faction as yours. The number before the bracket is your total friends. IAP Prices drops with the latest update - Did you know that the IAP of the game dropped dramatically? The prices of the Western Points drops from $4.99 for 60 Western Points to only $0.99 for 60 Western Points. You can finally buy Western Points that will help you a lot specially if you're in the Chaos Quest Chapter like me since most of the missions in that Chapter requires a lot of Action Points and only reward you with a few Experience Points. Western Points is very helpful to complete the Quest since it fully recover you Action Points for 10 Western Points. Gaining Friends Quickly - The fastest way to gain friends without you doing anything is to buy the IAP, VIP CODE for $0.99 in the Store. Buying this IAP will put your name in the VIP List which other players can see and add like in the image below. Each player that add you as their friend will also become your friend. This is specially helpful to complete the Add Friend Achievements. (Weird that I can no longer see this Add Friend Achievement in the Achievements List since the 1.0.3 update released today.). Having lots of friends also boost your ATK Damage in the Duel. Equipment Collector - You love to collect Equipment but doesn't have enough room for it? You can buy an extra Inventory in the Store for $0.99 each. You can upgrade your inventory to 40 maximum slots for every Equipment Part.
Making Money with Businesses In Bloody Western if you play as a sheriff, you have access what could potentially be the best money maker in the game. However, in order to make the big bucks with businesses, you must make sure you are properly utilizing them. By making sure you are doing the best you can to keep your businesses in prime condition however, you are guaranteeing yourself a chance to make loads of gold! Buying Businesses The above pictures showing the price going up. At first, it may not seem to like a good idea to buy businesses because they cost quite a bit and you could buy some cool equipment. However, after buying a businesses, within a few days you will pay off the money you spent on it, and make a larger profit. Eventually if you buy a lot of businesses, not only will you break even, but every day you will be showered with gold, allowing you to buy even more businesses! When I play, after I make a profit from my business, I immiediatly collect the payment and invest into another business. In case you didn't notice however, once you buy a business, the price will rise by about 2-5%. After buying the same businesses a couple of times, I would highly recommend moving on to other businesses, in order to evade the climbing prices. Once you run out of businesses in your town however, you will be able to move to another town and get more businesses! Moving to Another Town Have you ever wondered what the horseshoe icon was meant for? Well, it actually allows you to travel to different towns for various reasons. By traveling to a different town, you are allowing yourself to obtain larger variety of businesses available to you. With a greater variety of businesses, you will be able to buy even more without the problem of extremely high-priced businesses. As you level up, eventually you will be able to access different towns and cities. I would suggest that as you as you level up to the required level you move to that town. The reason behind this is because the higher level you are, the fewer people their are in your group. By moving to higher-level places, you are reducing the chance that people will attack your business due to the fact that their are simply less of them around to rob you. Obviously however, it is best to be secure so that way you can reduce the chance of a robbery even more, as without proper protection all the money you've spent on investing has gone to waste. Protecting Your Business Because of the constant threat of people robbing you, it is necessary to find proper protection. Without any protection at all, you will fall victim to many people stealing the gold you've earned. The best way to protect yourself is to buy strong equipment that offers a good boost in defense, and by adding points to the defense stat. By constantly adding better equipment to yourself, you are making potential robbers avoid your business compared to weaker businesses. Also, another tip to avoid constant harassment would be to move to a higher level town, as their will be less potential robbers. Collect Your Gold! Robbers will always steal your money if it's just sitting out in the open. The same concept is true in Bloody Western. If you just leave your gold sitting in the business, robbers will try to rob you. The best way to avoid this is to simply collect the money before someone comes to you. I normally check my game about every two hours so that way I know people will not steal my hard-earned gold. However, without a consistent schedule, people will steal your money. Tip: I found that an effective way to know when to check your game to avoid robbers stealing your gold would be to set a timer for when the majority of your businesses would gain gold. Once I see how long each business will take to collect the gold, I set up a timer using the default Clock app that comes with all iDevices. When the timer goes off, I check Bloody Western! In order to be consistent however, you must remember to reset the timer, otherwise all your efforts will be in vain.
The Grand Finale Fresh Bloody Tips Mastering The War Quest Chapter Fast - After completing the hardest Chaos Chapter in the Quest, you can finally relax and easily master the next Chapter in the Quest, The War. Missions in this Chapter have a balanced Action Points and Experience Points Reward. You will not encounter any mission in this Chapter that has more Action Points but less Experience Reward. Most mission in this Chapter gives you a little more Experience Points than the required Action Points. The Chaos Chapter was a hell. Some quest there requires a lot of Action Points but gives you less than half of the required Action Points. I've only mastered that quest by the use of Western Points which I bought for $4.99 in the Store. But this The War Chapter, I've only mastered this Chapter for less than 5 Hours straight. Now, to Master the The War Quest Chapter in less than 5 hours: ---------> First you need to do the Drinking Time: Bottom's Up! mission in the Rookie Chapter (10 Action Points = 25 Experience Points). Keep on doing this until your Experience Points and Action Points are almost the same amount like in the images above. Now go to the The War Chapter Quest and use your remaining Action Points in the mission you wish to master. If you got less than required Action Points for the mission and didn't gain a level, you can then go back again to the Drinking Time: Bottom's Up! mission in the Rookie Chapter (10 Action Points = 25 Experience Points) to level-up and recover your Action Points. Repeat this process until you've mastered all Mission in the The War Chapter Quest. This is the quickest way known to man (Lol) to master this Chapter without using any Western Points. It took me almost 5 hours to master the The War Chapter in Quest. Mastering all mission in the The War Chapter will unlock the next Chapter called Master. Master Chapter also got 12 Levels and with the same balancing of Action Points and Experience Points as the The War Chapter. Only difference is that in Master Chapter, the Action Points needed for each mission are higher than the The War missions but still reward you with the same Experience Points as the Action Points required or a little more. Mastering the missions in the Master Chapter is the same as the The War Chapter. You just need to do the same procedure I've posted above in this Chapter to master it in 5 hours. Mastering the Master Chapter will unlock the final Chapter called The End. The End Chapter also have 12 Missions but the same balancing of Action Points and Experience Points as the previous Chapter. This is the final Chapter. Just use the same procedure as what I've posted above in the The War Chapter to complete this final Chapter. The only problem in this Chapter is that some Missions in this Chapter requires you to have an A Class Equipment equipped before you can take it. So like the previous Chapter, finish the missions that you can take with your current Equipment and you will gain an Equipment class needed for the other missions. If you didn't earn any, you can do the Level-Up tricks I've posted in my previous tips to level-up and buy the required Equipment for the missions. You should also do the Fast Gold gain tip I've posted in my old post. After finishing this quest, you are now halfway done with the whole game. You can now start going for the highest Rank to become the World Most Notorious Bloody Western Player. Go and Spill Blood!! NOTE: If you didn't meet the Equipment Requirement in some mission in this Chapter, you should first take the missions you can play and it will reward you with the required Equipment level for the next or following missions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How to get the Add Damage Bonus - You can see this Add Damage in the Duel and in your Inventory. You can gain a bonus Damage specially in the Duel based on your Weapon or Gun. The Gun is the one giving you the bonus Damage. You can check the bonus damage for each gun by selecting a Gun in the Store. You can see the + Damage and the amount of bonus per gun there. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Text and Spelling Error I've found 1 spelling error and a couple of unreadable text in the game. Check the images below for the errors. Health Pionts should be Health Points Unreadable text for a mission in the Master Quest.
Hi, I created a large guide for Bloody Western. Because I didn't want to clog up this thread even more, I decided to make it on google docs in hope of letting people be able to view this page more easily. The link for it is here: Google Docs
Suggestions/tips for the big contest tomorrow: If your low on health I do recommend you do this: Go to the refresh button on the menu screen and click on the lodge icon/name that will show, when you clicked the refresh button. Then it will show a beautiful women, yes a very beautiful women. Then it will say sleep for 50% of your health back, also it will say 100% of your health back for a massage. I know what your all thinking, getting a massage in a different area on your body, but no it is just a back massage. Darn it I know. Getting 50% or 100% cost you gold, because the beautiful women don't work for free. The cost isn't a lot so don't worry. Goes with recommendation for low on health and also a very nifty way to get higher levels and more cash: If you are about to level up and your low on health, go to the quest area real fast and do some quests to gain enough exp to level up. Then you will have full health again. When you level up, I recommend that you put most of your skill points on the action part of your character so you can do more quests and level up quicker. When you feel the need to build skill points up for your duel, then do so, but when in doubt choose action. It is more rewarding. Tips for dueling, also slow way to level up: When you first start to duel, you will want to view how high there level is and check there Def and ATK. If there DEF and ATK is lower than yours and there level is higher. Just attack the person and you should win. Watch out though, they will keep your ID name in there news feed, under duel. That meaning, when they get a little stronger than you. They will come right around and attack you, so I would stick to attacking lower levels, so you don't have that problem, unless you stop playing and then the low levels can catch your level or be a higher level than you and could come around and attack you. Play smart, not like a retard, is what I like to say. LOL. I also said it is a slow way to level up because you only get 5exp per duel you do, also if you lose you get 2exp. So, still that meaning stick to actions points instead of dueling till you get a good enough level or complete all the chapters in quest mode. Finally Quest tips: I only have a few. 1. Look for the quest/mission that pays the most. 2. Look for the quest/mission that gives you the most exp. 3. Last, play the quests/missions till you get to the mastered part to get more exp and money. Usage of IAP: I see people always complaining about this game only being about IAP, but it is not. You can literally play the game without buying anything at all. Just play smart and you will go as far as the people that do buy IAP's. The best way to save your game in-case you delete it or switch through other devices is: Using your Facebook account. Whatever level you have gotten or whatever progress you have made in the game, will be saved on the Facebook server. This also helped me out, before I continued playing it, because when I didn't know about it. I was a level 33 and I removed the game from my iPod and went to re-download it and lost everything. Now I tested it and it worked. So I recommend that everyone makes or uses there Facebook account to save there progress. Also, like Bloody Westerns Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BloodyWestern Adding friends to complete quest: When you go to quest, some quest need you to have more people in your camp to complete the tasks in the quest. So go to the social club underneath the world map and it will give you a small list to add to your friends list/camp. Then after doing that and you want/need more friends go to world rankings and look at there names and go back to add friends button and type there name in. Also, what I do it type random names in like, tom, brad, john, ect.... Because those are most common names, so everyone would try to put there real name in the game. If you want to add me, my name/ID is Elivate. Robbing someones places: In order to do a successful rob you would need high DEF and ATK points for your character. Even for the houses that low level people have. I just literally tried to rob a level 8 building and I kept failing. When you fail, it will take health and duel points from you, so never rob someone if your DEF and ATK is low. Selling old cloths, weapons, ride or jewelry that you don't need anymore: Did you ever need more money for a new piece of clothing, weapons, rides, or even jewelry? Well here is how you can do it. First: Go to your my stats on the main menu screen. Second: Click on any part of your character with the little icons in a square box. Third: It will show you what all the items you have in the part of the character you chose, in square boxes. One of them should say equipped. Fourth: Click on any other square box besides your equipped one with your item you don't want and it will show below the things you want done with it. Fifth: They will say reinforce, repair, equip, or sell. You want to click sell. Then there you go, you sold your old items you don't want and got money back. This was a hell of a ride AppAsia, thanks for the contests and future ones to be held. I know I didn't win any big prizes, but I had fun winning something from these contests you have held. Every-time I see my name as a winner for a $10 gift card, I feel happy inside. I want everyone to get an opportunity to win something and feel what I have felt. THANKS AGAIN AND GOD BLESS YOU.

Prioritize skill levels. When dueling, the most important thing to do is look at their skill levels, regardless of their rank. It is very much more likely that you can beat something with a much higher rank and low skill levels than a person with high skill levels but a lower rank than you. Do quests, not just duel. You will gain just as much experience points from quests as from duels. Add as many friends as you can. This way, you will always have a person you can duel when you get to the point where finding someone lower ranked than you becomes scarce. Don’t play a lot, play often. It may become tedious, but it’s the fastest way to gain fast in this game. 5 minutes every hour or two hours won't kill you. Investing in business is never a bad option. You’ll regain what you lost again, eventually, so don’t be scared to let go a little and splurge on your investments. It will pay off. Real world lesson. Defense over attack. It was much easier for me to win a duel when I upgraded my defense skill points rather than my attack points. Build up your defense first, then attack. Go to events. Check the Event area often, even if you do not participate. Eventually there will be an event that will suit you perfectly, and it will be beneficial in the long-run. Weapons. The second you can afford another equipment, go for it. Always be as advance in your equipments as possible. Deposit your gold in the strongbox. It’s the only way to keep what you have earned literally being snatched from you without knowing. Always do this before leaving the game. You will regret it if you do not.
-The game does not end when you leave the game. People can continue to duel you when you are not present. It is important to make sure you can defend yourself when you are not there by having a good defense in your equipment. By not doing this, you will regret it. Investing in the DEF and ATK skill in your equipment is priority in securing your defense strategy. -The Lotto can be your good luck charm. You get 5 per day, so spend it all because if you miss a day, it does not add to the next day. You can earn a great deal from this if you are lucky. It will never hurt to try and earn more gold and skill points. -Move around. Go to other towns. Once you reach a certain level, you may need to go to another town or towns to find people worthy to duel. Towns only unlock the higher your level gets, so you know people there will be within your level. Always check time by time to see if another town in unlocked. Dont get stuck in a low-level town. You will earn more around people in your level range.
Advanced strategy for Chaos stage. Let us assume most of us wants to eventually complete all the quests and stages. How we go about accomplishing this will affect the amounts of time and money needed/wasted. Probably a lot of us are battling through Chaos stage. This is very time consuming as the EXPerience points gained are not enough to level up without either utilizing Western Points to refill Action points or just grind it out with Drinking Time - Bottoms Up! back in the Rookie stage. What is the best course of action in Chaos stage? Let's analyse of what is more important - Gold/Equipment, Level Up, or Rank. Gold/Equipment Pro Gold lets you buy equipment which will increase Action, Movement, Duel and Health points. Con None. Level Up Pro Higher level unlocks equipments, which are in turn needed to unlock quests. Con 1. Higher level means more EXPerience points needed to level up, which are necessary to replenish Action, Movement, Duel and Health points. 2. Duel opponents are matched to your level. High level means tougher opponents. You can get around this by Dueling your (weaker) friends instead. Rank Pro Bragging rights. Con Others will hunt you down when you rank up. At this time I am convinced that the quickest way to advance through the Chaos stage is to maximize the equipment and therefore accumulate as much Gold as you can. Don't worry about completing all the quests initially. Spend all your effort to repeat Welcome Party for the Rookie in combination with Drinking Time - Bottoms Up! (or use Western Points) until you purchased Class C equipment in most categories. Pick the ones with the most bang for the buck for Action point bonus. You should consider getting the best Deco you can afford early in this stage. You will end up saving time in the long run. An example equipment list Head - Gold Cowboy Hat (13,800,000 +40 Action points) Back - Handmade Cowboy Cape (GOLD 7,410,000 +35 Action points) Shirt - Oriental Iron Breastplat (GOLD 14,250,000 +35 Action points) Deco - Brutal Outlaw's Insignia (GOLD 12,825,000 +280 Action points) Glove - Aseh Patterned Outlaw Gloves (GOLD 8,740,000 +30 Action points) Sub Weapon - not helpful for Action points bonus Weapon - not helpful for Action points bonus Pants - Sheriff's White Suit Pants (GOLD 16,800,000 +40 Action points) Boots - Fine Stitched Outlaw Boots (GOLD 11,780,000 +40 Action points) This will give you a whoopping 500 bonus Action points which will make the rest of Chaos stage more manageable. The higher your Action points, the easier to level up and complete quests. The better the equipment, the easier to rank up. Remenber just as in real estate it is Location, Location, Location, in Bloody Western, it is Gold, Gold, Gold! Good luck everyone!
