Looks like someone hacked the leaderboards....not that it affects me much at a lowly #174 (well, at least I'm still in the top 10% ). The more I play, the more blown away I am by this game. Don't know how long it'll take me to get to the end of the story mode, but loving every minute of it.
I unlocked Shaneela (the mermaid) and damn is she broken when compared to the other 2 damsels. Her full charge kills EVERYTHING short of a boss thats just outside your view. First time playing as here and I got my high score. Second time I played with her and I finished story mode, and got pretty far with the continuing survival mode and scored 10,223,974 just enough to take the 8th spot on the leaderboards in scores, and 11th in distance. There's one flaw in the design of the scoring in the continued Survival Mode. It continues your score and distance in story mode, in which you had 3+ lives completing. This needs to be changed, or there wont be any reason to play Survival mode using the right door at the start.
totally agree... why start on survival when you can carry over your story mode score to the beginning of survival? I just reached survival mode through story mode this morning, and have done it every time I've played the game since, so once you do it, it's really not hard to do again... But not having that score carry over is something that needs to be dealt with... or figured out... Also... any chance we'll see another board for if you're carrying the clock??
Yeah.. Score is close to nil when using the clock but im sure it's [the key as indicated in the other damsels' stories]. I havent finished with it yet though, as im overly fond of Shaneela right now. Im just enjoying Shaneela while she's still so broken. Im foreseeing some rebalancing anytime in the future, else it'll be useless to play other ladies, or even bother to unlock Jane before anything else.
+1 to the two experts in front of me concerning the seperate leaderboard. Yes, with Shaneela i also made my highscore, but i haven't seen the vortex yet. Still, Catherine (m-gun) is my favorite, and i'm playing with her (like i had the clock) the pacific way, but in case i need it, i have a gun. No other game,ever, sucked me in like yours, Gamesmold ! I like to be wrong, but this is my personal GOTY... PS: The longer i play, the less i want another view over the shoulder. But still some more weight while falling.

Going into survival mode after reaching the temple is just, let's say, a temporary state in your game progress... I guess by now nobody has managed to complete the game with the clock. Cause after that, things will be a bit different inside the temple Btw - survival mode does hold something that is not in the story mode. Just run far enough. Achievement list gives a hint...
Yeah... this crossed my mind. It could pretty well be my GotY, but we'll see. This one is definitely a candidate.
Been thinking about this too. I bet finishing with the clock takes a turn on the story mode and takes you to this.
Nope, to confront the Spoiler Chaos Golem you need to reach a certain distance in Survival. The boss is like the giant spider thing (I think it's called Therotilla?), but it uses lasers. I defeated it using only the grenades. Anyway, it seems that there are some secret achievements. I have 13, and I'm only missing 5 from the GC list, but there are 22 total achievements
So after reading Gamesmold's post i finished the Game with the Clock. And something revealing (disturbing) happened inside the temple (im not going to spoil it!). I assume I have to play again using the 3 damsels in distress? Coz im about to do that now to find out what's next. The more I play this game, the more it is likely for it to be my GotY. There some mindf**k going on and the gameplay is my favorite iOS game genre, and it's just perfect in every aspect, except that with a jailbroken device, i am struggling to keep my upgrades intact by not opening any high-memory consuming apps or never removing Blood Roofs from the task bar. Or the game resets. But that doesnt stop me from playing the best Runner/Action game on the appstore. There i said it. Nothing even comes close to its depth, and a very intruiging story mode.
I have 18, missing only the Golem and the Vortex (but i know how to complete this achievement now ). So it means there's still 2 hidden achievements to unlock. We'll see. Pretty excited here.
Here's my first run after the Clock completion. Spoiler Took Shaneela to the temple, opted to protect her, and got into the vortex which was HARD, so a quick game over followed after. And I got the Vortex achievement completed. Aaaaaaand I am at #4 spot on the leaderboards with 14,391,929 in total score.
