Well, I had to update to iOS7 to get Blood Bros to work. But... ...even though Blood Bros doesn't have a configuration menu, I've found that by copying .nv, .cfg and .ini files from a Windows mame install to their folders in the app with iExplorer, it at least can be configured manually. I used Windows mame 139b to configure the game and output a mame.ini file. Then the files were copied to the app folders. .nv files copied to nvram folder: e.g. crusnusa.nv so I don't have to go through the upgrade everytime. .cfg files copied to cfg folder: e.g. wingwar.cfg to reverse the joystick axes. mame.ini copied to the Documents folder: edit the parameters on computer and then copy e.g. I slowed the emulation down to 50% as a test. Once the app is closed and restarted, the changes take affect! Hope this helps someone... Falcon1987
Do you know if there is a way to program kobox? I want to be able to program my buttons for each game like I could with gridlee, which was basically another imame. If anybody knows how id appreciate the help.
Hello, Icade works well sort of... I'm quite disappointed because i can't make more than 3 buttons works. So for any game that needs more than that you may just forget it. Anyone had success trying to map the other buttons by modifying mame config files ? thanks for helping !
I'd like to know this as well. I hope it gets an update to where you can map the buttons and adds more than 3 buttons.
So has this seen any updates recently? I stupidly updated my phone and lost Gridlee before syncing so it's gone forever I have seen the 25pp and Tongbu versions but I don't fancy downloading and installing software on my iMac where I can't even understand the language let alone know what it's doing! I really want to be able to use MAME again
Any way to get this to work on iOS 8? I got a new iphone 6+ and it doesn't seem to be recognizing the roms. Edit: Whoops, nevermind. I was doing it wrong. It still works on iOS 8. Thank goodness!
I've Got It!!! If you want the answer: Add the roms into documents/roms/ then tap the multiplayer button and tap change rom!!! sorry if somebody figured it out already I was too lazy to look or if you want to just figure it out yourself that works too!
Has anyone tried multiplayer with this app? I have iMame and Gridlee, but I don't recall either having multiplayer support.
Ha ha great stuff. We were trying to work that out for ages but seemed to miss it. Just need a way to make this full screen now
Is there any way at all of getting newer games to run on this? Specifically Street Fighter 3rd Strike - would love to have that on the iPhone !
How is this compared to Gridlee? I missed that one and never got it. Luckily for others Gridlee was free. But lately I've been itching to play Aliens vs. Predator arcade.
I can't seem to make this work, downloaded the mame Rom and put it into the Roms folder and used the 2 player button to switch the rom but it doesn't do anything. (iphone 6 Plus on Ios 8.1.2) Any help would be appreciated much!
Woops Yeah I did that, I typed documents folder in my last post but I've edited it now. any other solutions? the rom is inside the Roms folder.
Roms must be for 0.139 Mame, they must be zipped. Can't think of anything else, not all roms work but a lot do.
