So we are back from Gamescom in Cologne! We had a great time there and we were even able to show the game to fellow developers and some journalists. The overall reaction was very positive We are thinking to conduct some kind of "beta-playtest" of BLOO KID 2 once we have finished World 2 of the game content-wise (which will probably take us another 2 weeks) So my question is: Are there any users here who would be interested to participate in this Testing Session?

Hi everybody! Just a short update about what is going on! Unfortunately I still can't give you a specific date for the start of our beta test. I hope to contact all people who "signed up" individually via private messagte next week. BTW if there are more people who would like to take part in the beta, but have not contacted me via PM or said so in this thread please contact me One of the main resons for the short delay is that Eiswuxe worked on a small update for the original BLOO KID. No new level content, but the update should strengthen the replay value of the game. Once the update is live, I will notify you I am not sure if Toucharcade is cool with linking to other mobile games news sites, so I don't do this, but still I want to mention that Pocket Gamer in a recent article named BLOO KID 2 as one of the "hottest indie prospects" from Gamescom 2013, which, naturally, we are happy about
BLOO KID 2 NEWS! Everything has been delayed a little bit due to 2 reasons: Number one: We made an update for BLOO KID, which you can download now for your smartphone Number two: We started working on an additional project with two friends of ours. Neither Eiswuxe nor I are involved in programming or content creation for this one, but we are heavily involved with the game design. I'll post a thread on the game once we have something to show. But now, World 2 is finally content complete, with "final" artwork and music/fx. Level Design for World 3 (which will be the last world in the initial release) has started last week. So we want to start our proposed "beta test" (or playtest, whatever you want to call it) within the next couple of days. I came across some bugs yesterday which we might want to fix for this version (I'll have to check with Eiswuxe), but it will just be a matter of days BTW people can still PM me or post here if they want to be our testers Testers will receive a credit in the final game! Hi everybody, well, yeah, sorry for the long silence... I did not really find much time to post anything about the game recently. Also there have been some delays with the progress of the game due to some changes (job and private stuff) during the winter. I'll try to give you a more thorough update within the next couple of days
Hey guys and girls! I know we have been silent for a looooong time! Again, sorry for that! However, we have been busy with BLOO KID 2 and a couple of other projects - about some of those you might hear at some point ;-) So what's the status of BLOO KID 2? Well, this weekend was the first time we were able to play through a content complete version of the game! So all features, level design, gfx, sound/music for the game are done! What's still left to do is a bit of polishing and bugfixing. In fact I have compiled a fairly long list of issues today. i think that approx. 10 of those should be tackled before we can submit the game to the app store. So I am quite confident that I can give you a release date very soon! In the meantime, here are some screens from World 3 of BLOO KID 2:
So that's the final boss of world 2! A lot of testing of the game was done on the weekend. About half a dozen issues are left to fix, but honestly most of them are really small nitpicks that would not warrant a further delay. There's just one thing regarding the game center integration that really bothers me. Anyway, if nothing spectacular happens, you can expect a release date within the remainder of this month
Hello everybody! BLOO KID 2 has been submitted to the iOS app store! We scheduled the release for the 6th of March. The game will be released as a universal app. As with the first game you can download it for free, but it will display advertisement. If the advertisement is annoying you, you will be able to remove it via in-app purchase. Please keep in mind, that Apple may reject the game for some reasons, so that we have to re-submit, which may postpone the release a couple of days (so keep your fingers crossed!)
