And to think that it was released in October but no one heard about it until a few weeks ago. :p

    Dude

I know you want to promote your group but just stop. That's spamming. But
I might have to buy blocked now.

Blocked is a superb game and easily worth double the price it is at.

    Congrats to the dev.

I bought it when it first came out and I loved it. It looked like the best of all the Gridlock games and I'm so glad I bought it. I'm happy to see the dev finally receive the recognition he deserves and hopefully with this surge of income he'll make another awesome game!

Is this any different than the parking lot games?

It's just better. You can select any previous level you've beaten, it just oozes style, and the graphics aren't just obnoxious cars

Pieces are smooth too. I guess the simple UI makes it enjoyable.

Another sign that $0.99 is still dominating the market by quantity =(

More people are willing to spend $1 then, well, any other price. I know I am. And a lot of devs want to make a quick buck making games that they can't charge any higher because they're so shoddy. 99c are easier to make than $5
or $10 games, and it's what the public wants.

i agree and heres an example.

I am thinking about buying field runners and HOS. There is no reason for me to not. But i am hesitant. I have received at least 10 recommendations but i just cant do it. They are 5 dollars and 6.

But, i never heard of blocked before today and i bought it just because of ONE recommendation. Its 99 cents.

    See the difference?

Anyone here play both Trafic Jam 2 and Blocked?

I currently have Traffic Jam 2, is Blocked all that much better?

(Yes, I already saw Tennisking1o1's comment.)

I know you already saw both, but after beating Blocked I bought Traffic Jam 2 and I still liked Blocked more. Traffic Jam is still a solid game and I didn't experience any crashing problems like some others, but I liked Blocked more.

And for anyone stuck on level 64, the dev put up some help for that level on his site, check out the games' description for the link

Hmm, guess I'll pick it up after finishing Traffic Jam then.

No real reason to have two at once I suppose. ^ ^

    Thanks for the input.

Review of "parking lot" type of games

Has anyone done a review of this type of game? I see Parking lot, Blocked, Traffic Jam 2 (3d one). I normally have a hair trigger and buy whatever is on the first page, so Blocked would be it. But the others have cooler graphics, so I'm actually pausing before I buy, at this point, I have too many apps. Real folders would help to orgranize (not the jailbreak one). I'm wondering how the gameplay/features are among the three.

I only have Blocked, Don, but it's a worthy purchase.
It's well implemented, clean and simple. I enjoy the hand-drawn look.
