The year is nearly over, and to paraphrase reviewers on this years biggest and best, the best movies involved toys, a nerd's college project and several people who were asleep. Nearly everything else was disappointing or outright crap. I will say next year and especially 2010, look packed with blockbusters, and I'm out of all of them a few will be great. (note: I'm focusing on blockbusters, as smaller projects aren't as likely to avoid being pushed back unless the director is Scorcese or something). 2011 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Xmen First Class Green Lantern Captain America: The First Avenger Thor Some Transformers bullshit Some Twilight bullshit Sucker Punch Cars 2 Kung Fu Panda 2 Source Code Sherlock Holmes 2 Scream 4 Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol The Thing The Smurfs The Three Muskateers 2012 The Dark Knight Rises Superman The Wolverine The Avengers Spider-Man Reboot Deadpool Kick Ass 2 Star Trek 2 Bond 23 The Bourne Legacy Mad Max: Fury Road The Hobbit Men In Black 3 Sin City 2 Underworld 4 Buffy the Vampire Slayer Monsters Inc. 2 Halo Some Twilight shit ----------------------- Thoughts?
Scott Pilgrim Kick Ass How to Train Your Dragon Youth in Revolt Inception Are all 2010, and I thought they were great movies.
Im really looking foward to Xmen First Class. I love Matthew Vaughan from Kickass and Stardust. Also the actors being accumulated for it are awesome. I think its going to be.........First Class
What about 'The Adventures of Tintin' by Spielberg and Jackson? I think that is in 2012. And Hangover 2... I didn't know Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Monsters Inc. 2 were in production. And I don't think Halo will be made by then, more like 2014 if they ever have a good screenplay and a few productions to make them up. I don't see Source Code, Scream 4, The Thing, The Smurfs and Underworld 4 being big hits but I am interested in seeing them in theaters, except Underworld 4 and The Smurfs. -Blockbusters like the film will make $100 million+ or having a huge budget? Anyways, here's my list of upcoming blockbusters: 2011: Battle: Los Angeles (My #1 must see ) Sucker Punch Fast Five Thor Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides The Hangover 2 Kung Fu Panda 2 X-Men First Class Super 8 (Not sure about this one) Green Lantern Cars 2 Rise of the Apes (?) Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 2) Captain America: The First Avenger Cowboys and Aliens Real Steel (?) Puss in Boots (?) Happy Feet 2 The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part 1) Hugo Cabret Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol Sherlock Holmes 2 The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (English version) 2012: The Avengers Madagascar 3 Men in Black 3 Star Trek 2 Spider-Man (Reboot) Ice Age: Continental Drift The Dark Knight Rises Monsters Inc. 2 The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part 2) Superman (Reboot?)
Battle LA just looks amazing, plus I love the music in the trailer. When the sun's gone dim and the sky turns black... Chills everytime. Ughh. So amazing. (
Holy sh**, a new Bourne movie? Thanks, I didn't know about that. Ones I Consider Worthy to See Out of Your List: Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides X-Men: First Class Green Lantern Captain America: The First Avenger Thor The Dark Knight Rises The Wolverine The Avengers Spider-Man Reboot Deadpool The Bourne Legacy The Hobbit Monsters Inc. 2
No... it's good that they are bringing the old stuff back. Don't worry the car is awesome when you see it in person. Also where's the love for ghostbusters 3? Thought right now all my attention is on TRON: Legacy as I loved the first one and have already seen 23 minutes of the movie in imax 3D which was amazing.
Good Lord, man, have you no sense of style? ...Or perhaps this is a joke and I've been had. Please, please say I've been had.
Yeah, but Matt Damon isn't in it, nor is it about the original Jason Bourne aka David Webb. It's about another guy who takes the Jason Bourne name after the events of The Bourne Ultimatum, and is considered an expansion of the trilogy storyline. The guy who wrote the story for the last films is now directing. As far as directing street cred, he wrote and directed Michael Clayton.

How pathetic has the industry become? Most of this crap is comic books. Smurfs? What is the average age of the audience now? 8? Hollywood has truly hit rock bottom.
