Block Knights 1.1 has gone Live!

BitCaper would like to announce the release of Block Knights 1.1. This update for Block Knights contains a second, alternate control method. With this the player can drag the piece with their finger, tap to rotate the piece and double tap to lock the piece in place. Along with the new control, pieces in will now lock into place.

Block Knights takes a new twist on block building puzzle games. The goal is to create rows and columns of blocks, score points, destroy enemies and rule the leader boards with high scores. With Block Knights players can tilt the iPhone to send the pieces in any direction on the board or drag them with their finger based on their chosen control method. Rotate pieces by tapping the screen and lock them together against any of the four edges of the board.
Block Knights offers four different types of play which balance tense, timed experiences like Arcadia and Guillotine with the slow, relaxing pace of Infinitas mode. In the epic Quest mode players will find themselves pitted against armies of Mobs, throughout multiple stages. Check out http://BlockKnights.com or find Block Knights in the iTunes App Store here .

    Features:

    * Slide pieces in 360 degrees
    * Fun and colorful art style throughout multiple stages
    * Rich sound effects combined with an original musical score
    * Get high scores and unlock medals
    * Save and restart your game
    * 2 control methods
    * Listen to your own music

Not convinced? Try Block Knights before you buy it with Block Knights Lite!

Great update, I like the old control scheme though. ^ ^

I personally love the various backgrounds, it really adds a lot to the game. :)

    Hmmm
Controls feel a litttle iffy to me
Like I might accidentaly rotate and I will accidentally lock in trying to rotate

That's why there are 2 control methods now. One for each play stile :D. Some will find the tilt more conducive while others will like the touch.

Looks like a fun game. Need to tell the person holding the camera to keep it centered on the game? ;)

haha, actually the camera was on a tripod... I found it was hard to keep the iPhone centered when tilting it to play the game:D
