Foursaken, there is a typo on the trailer. It says "Supremecy" instead of "Supremacy" (at 0.13)

Yeah, saw that right after it went live - uploading a fixed version >_<

  7. Sweet baby Jesus!

I cannot comprehend all of the information contained in that trailer....

So, the maps are "tight" is that true? Long and narrow?

Are there prefab maps, like the one with the battle cruisers on it and the forts?

Looks like, in the trailer as well, that the equiping was on-the-fly, confirms that for sure...

Is the camera free roaming around like in the trailer or is that cinematic? :)

Definitely, I think, fulfills a lot of the old BF players like myself who wanted a tower-defense focused Mode without the FPS, but this adds so much more, with the heroes and the armies...

    WOOP!

Yep, maps are generally long and narrow, with resource points down the middle - a lot of "push and pull" type gameplay in versus, and a "slowly inch up and fortify" type gameplay in single player.

There are 25 unique maps in the game. Block Fortress: War has an actual campaign that you will work towards completing, unlock the original Block Fortress. Each race has their own homeworld which has levels that you progress through until you conquer their planet, and ultimately the entire blockverse, and of course you will play through the campaign with each of the 5 races. We estimate that to finish the entire campaign it'll take around 15-20 hours.

And yep, equipping is done in battle, on the fly. A big part of how well you will do is reacting to, or switching up your equipment for different strategies.

Free roam camera is in the game - we have a few control schemes in that regard.

Foursaken, the below video says "video was removed by owner" cannot view it. Tried searching on YouTube and also could not find it.

Foursaken, is it 15-20 hours for each race? Or all together?

Also, could you say the gameplay is like if you took a game like Cartoon Wars then made it 3D and waaaay more complex since it's the single lane maps wih the "push pull" gameplay?

    Should be up now.

    15-20 hours total + multiplayer.

Not sure about being like Cartoon Wars... it just has a really unique feel to it, I think.

We have a few things to work out, so release date will either be the 6th or the 13th at the latest. More details when we have them.

    Can't wait for this

    - Price?
    - Download size?
    - iPhone 4 support?

Also, not clear on this, do you have any direct control? Like the first Block Fortress or Bug Heroes?

    $1.99

You can tell your commander where to go with taps, and then building is like the building phase in block fortress. The whole game is controlled from the building stage view. Units act on their own.

    Yes to iPhone 4 support

400 megs installed is the size. Plus, just to correct JCho, the building is not actually done in a "building phase", but at any time. You collect chunks of resources when you capture strategic points, then at any time you can build up (or rebuild) your defenses. In single player it will pause to give you time to build, while in multiplayer its all done in real time.

Hero control is like controlling units in any standard RTS or MOBA. Tap to move, tap to force attack, etc. Each hero has 3 abilities.

We support all devices (even 3g's).
