Universal Block Fortress: War - (by Foursaken Media)

My first thoughts was TRON, especially when the music began to play and the mission "the outer grid" showed up and then I immediatly felt in love with this race.
But each to his own I guess

 

Will this game have leaderboards like Bugheroes 2 does?

 

So wait, are TA members complaining about a 2$ game? Yes. Yes they are. I always come on these forums for a good laugh.

 

Ok enough of this $2 crap does anyone have impressions of the game?

 

Free to play with IAP is always going to be a problem as long as $5 and under games are considered "expensive" in the App Store . Love this game! Easily worth $2

 

There is endless mode coming so I guess so

 

1) Very different from BF
2) no, only near power blocks which you have to capture
3) in update
4) you can control your hero

First Foursaken another great game. I made sure to buy some more IAP to support and say thanks.

Here is some feedback:

- Multiplayer: seems some enemy players are able to build more walls and tirrets early on even when we have same amount of power nodes.
- Ranged heroes are camping power node where they get healed, please consider change so camping a power node gives diminishing returns on healing longer u stay. Or just cap how much HP a power node can heal in 60 seconds.
-wish we could see what we are unlocking before we buy, race, hero etc.

I unlocked all the races via gems and just looking at hero stats some ranged heroes seem very OP since they get great range and damage

 

For my very first suggestion (and, in usual internet tradition, to offer criticism before praise, the latter of which I have plenty), I would greatly like it if we could see changes in unit stats when units already have an item equipped in a particular slot, and we highlight a possible replacement item for the same slot. (Currently, you only see changes in stats when you select an item for an empty slot.)

(And, while we're at it, allow us to equip replacement items without first clearing the target slot.)

 

I think the awesome thing about this game is that, I would be more than satisfied with playing through the game with the Block Men and having that be it. Like that would be great. But no, there's 2 more heroes AND 4 more races! FOUR! And they all play radically different from each other. This game is amazing

Also, I think it's safe to assume that Endless mode will be like Planet Z level 3

 

Just woke up and downloaded going to get to play it soon. Anyone else having problems with forums like Devious Dungeon not being there?

I feel like I'm the only person who's noticed the consumable boosts at the bottom of the equipment screen. Pretty cool idea

 

Foursaken any word if multitasking will get better in an update? I lost progress twice in goblock mision 4 due to this and it was almost won already. At least some autosave??

 

I am a huge strategy fan, I played and finished almost every single one of them on PC: from its pioneer Dune 2 (Westwood, good times before EA), to Command & Conquer (all), Company of Heroes (all), HomeWorld (all), Warcraft (all), StarCraft (all), Age of Empires (all), Empire Earth (all), Supreme Commander (both), Populous 3D, Dungeon Keeper (both), ... and I can go on and on mentioning RTS games that I finished. Hoping for a lot here since I have been craving for a good one for a long time.

 

How are the controls on the iPhone?

I played the original Block Fortress and liked it, but the controls were a constant source of frustration.

 

Wow, that is exactly like myself, all the way back to Dune 2 and needing the manual to answer the copy protection question everytime.
