The zomblocks 5 is now bugged in another way. The area that is meant to be black was not, but the barracks there was still inactive. I startes, not caring about the black zone not being black, but then something strange happened. There came a message from the enemy that usually only comes when you almost break/break there barrack before i had even damaged the first one. (This message was NOT the intro message). Then the secound barrack sendt out a massive wave that probably isnt supposed to come unless you destroy it. And I hadnt even damaged the first. I managed to survive the wave, but new giga waves came and I lost. I started over again. This time the secound and third barrack were active, their health bar and tier level showed. When I got my tier level 2 barrack the third barrack sendt out a MONSTER wave (probably meant to come just before you break it and win). After the wave all three barracks started to send out units. I had no chance against a giga wave plus 3 barracks and died. I took some pictures but i dont know how to add them to the post from my phone. If you want I can tweet them or something
Btw if you didnt understand what I said, here is a simple explanation: On zomblocks 5 the enemy barracks spawned units when they should be inactive and there were spammed super waves that was meant to come when you almost break or break a barrrack
I managed to do it by stalling the destruction of the first barracks long enough to get my barracks to level 2 and my Overlord to level 5-ish. First, make your tier 1 units purposefully weak. I gave mine spikes and radioactive trail, for example. You want the enemy turrets to kill them for now, so don't give them tough. Next, capture the first power block and place an energy ward on top of it. You can spend the rest of your minerals on attack or heal totems as you see fit, but don't make a spawn totem just yet. Next, wait around the edge of the water for the enemy troops and hero to show up. You can crush them easily with Frenzy. Next, capture the next power block, but don't build anything on it. Now you farm for a while, hang out near the power block and kill any enemies that come too close to you. If any of your troops make it up to the enemy barracks, select them and order them to attack the furthest turret. After you get to level 3 or higher, you can push for the first reinforcement wave. First, save up enough ability points to use No Pain. Then, attack the barracks until the first reinforcement wave message shows up. Immediately activate No Pain and rush up to the titan that spawns near the power block. No Pain makes you practically immune to its AoE. You'll still probably get stunned but you and your troops should be able to finish it off before No Pain wears off. Don't push the barracks again until you're level 5 or higher. When your barracks hit level 2 buy a shroud totem and whatever else you like. You should be level 5 by now, so now is the time to take out the turrets and push the barracks. I gave my tier 1 units tough and spikes, to make them armored meat shields, and my tier 2 units got giant, tough, and radioactive aura. While clearing out the barracks, hit Consume for a stat boost if you've got the ap and there are a lot of troops around you, but make sure you've got enough ap for a No Pain to take out the reinforcement wave that pops up after the barracks goes down. After that it's a matter of slowly pushing forward. Use No Pain to take out the enemy troops, and retreat when it's about to wear off so you don't get stun-locked. Use Consume whenever you think you can safely lose some ground and power up your hero. If you power up your hero enough, you'll be zipping around the map and blowing up everything in your way. At around level 10 your ap generation should be high enough to keep No Pain up almost indefinitely, and as long as you don't get stun-locked to death you should be able to win. Don't take the remaining power blocks unless you're confident you can keep them. Good luck.
Yes, this mission is different from most others in that if you don't bum rush the 1st barracks as fast as possible, you will be overwhelmed much easier (although clearly you can without doing that as PlusOneUser did ). Indeed Zomblocks are a swarm race so the idea should be to reduce their spawn production as soon as you can. Once you get to T2, you should be able to hold out pretty nicely with the new T2/T3 blocks (which have TONS more hps) while flamers, .50 cals, etc do some real damage.
Submitted it yesterday (had to fix up some of the most recent bug reports), so should hit anywhere from 5-10 days. Change-log: • Added an all new endless mode! • The move stick is now a floating move stick. • Units are now equipped with a basic weapon by default. • Removed some irrelevant chat messages. • Fixed a bug where Blockbot Alpha’s high yield ability would stay active forever when he died. • Significantly decreased the rate that Radioactive heals when being damaged with the transmutate ability active. • Improved stability. • Minor bug fixes.
I don't understand the 'slow mineral income'. Somehow I end up with minerals even when I haven't captured a NEW power block. Does this happen when my hero is near a node or something? Also, does standing on top of a resource node grant better healing than standing beside it?
So I was playing multi against a digger today and before I could react he dug to my barracks, put a power block down and instantly had 4 beast blocks killing my barracks. I couldn't do anything about it even though I was attacking his hero before he even put the power down Edit: just faced a striker who couldn't be targeted by anything. At all. Ever. Even while attacking
Another question (sorry for spamming) How do I check hero stats? I thought you could do it in the purchase screen, but I cant seem to find out how
As long as you hold onto a node you get 1 mineral per sec until you get to 50, so 100 for initial capping then 50 for mineral income as long as it's held. No to your second question. It's in the hero selection screen as you select level there is a icon for information near select to view stats of that hero. Btw currently uploading vids for zomblock 4 & 5 playing as blockoids if anyone needs them.
In that case the hero screen is bugged. The i icon isnt there. If anyone is nice they could share a screen of the goblocks digger and gunner heroes stats and powers.
How do I use Goblocks? I think they suck, but then again I think I'm just not using them properly. I'm stuck at 25% because basically all the planets have ranged units that just obliterate me. Can someone please lend a hand? Tips?
When you choose your hero for a level it shows the initial description, you can scroll down for the abilities.
