Mecha lvl 5? Their range is huge and does tons damage. The one after the first barrack dies have huge range and deals alot damage (the electric rockets guys). I tried miniguns, snipers, machine guns and nothing. Machete and armor seems bad on the game overall due to lack of speed and lack of hp and armor boost
I did it by hiding off thr middle to side then jumping in thr middle of the ranged guys, thry can't fire at point blank and u can just kill em all. Try jet packs on ur machette guys for fun. Also build in chessboard style inly on black for axample so u get less aoe damage: try hiding blocks behind ground hills - the ai is dumb, they will fire on a block even if they don't have line of sight.
Chess, you have black and you have white as per below. You stack all your blocks on only black for example. Benefit is blocks aren't touching so if bottom one is destroyed top ones fall to take it's place. Melee Enemies can't attack sideways for example so u only need to protect the sides of anything. If blocks are in a wall, enemies can just destroy bottom block and move through, the top blocks will not fall down to take their place unless the whole bottom row is destroyed. Added benefit for example below pic, i can easily see if i need to top up my defenses and from which side I'm taking more damage. Finally, your blocks are less vonerable to AOE and since u are already building high (next patch the max hight goes from 5 high to 10) u can put some turrets on top to take advantage of bonus elevation range.
I'm about to drive to work. Just google "chess board" and tap images, then look at all the black squares, u will only build either on all black or on all white

You will build only vertically and no blocks will be touching each other horizontally. I had typo previous reply i meant build on all black sauares only OR build on all white squares only. Towers that get destroyed on the bottom get replaced as the top ones fall down. This also opens up space for easy placement of turrets on the side of blocks for better firing angles and less blind spots up close
Yes that's one way to do it, depending on map i build around my power node sides. You don't want all your turrets on top, build some on side of the stack to help cover the blind spot. Turret will sweep up and down if u build it on side so it still gets range forward but it has no blind spot at it's feet. For example below pic: notice i built in + shape atound power node and i can get healed by standing there, in a x pattern corners
Thanks you guys! I see it now. Will play around with it. Is this a tactic you guys used in Block Fortress as well? I remember something similar, seeing it. I pretty much, in BF, build towers ontop of trees I have tried that tactic on some BF:W maps, building in the ancient city Zomblock map, but those suckers always CRAWL UP THE BUILDINGS and take them down I am finding I enjoy trying different strats and different ways to take on levels. I use Zomblock 3, the mass invasion map, as a way to test out strats with those guys, since it is a straight up pound back the opposition level, much like a Quickstart map in BF. It's just a heck of a lot of fun level, too. This game really is fun, a super challenge but that is always good! Look forward to the new modes... Could see this game being on a PC with much larger maps, starting in different corners of the map..... or a Quickstart mode like in BF...

I notice several of you all find putting turrets on top effective? Is there some range bonus for doing so or something? I know that building higher definitely gives the machine guns a bonus that I do not remember from Block Fortress! I usually always build turrets on sides of or below boxes, to give them a full rang of motion. I did something the other night, where I built a singer tower up, then added a plus sign at top of blocks. I put guns on each side of the tower, plus one on each of the plus sign ends, effectively giving several guns that could fire in all directions, up high, especially in most mission maps where you do not know if a spawn is going to occur off to the sides.... I have finally noticed that usually, if extra enemies ARE going to spawn, they spawn from doorways or little teleporters... Why it took so long I do not know
Now that I've had some time to actually play this I just want to say that coming from Foursaken, it's no surprise that: This game kicks ass! And so does Bug Heroes 2! Carry on....
Just wanted to say that I enjoyed greatly this game. There's flaws of course, but you're already working on them, so I just bought a 9 inapp, cause this is a 10 euros game, no doubt. I never played moba, and as I see it you really made a homerun. Please continue to provide games as good as this one. Thanks !
