Is this going to receive content like Bug Heroes and Castles & Heroes or will it be more like Mad Chef, with just a few updates?

I guess it quits out, only when I click craft mode.

I think Mad Chef had some decent content updates, including several mini games. Regardless, we try to put out fully featured games from the get-go, so any updates I'd like thing are gravy ;)

That being said, we already have a few things in the works for this game, and will be actively looking to add new modes, multiplayer, and various other features.

Hmm, that's strange - checking it out as we speak! I'll have more tomorrow.

I have a question about one of the IAPs. How long does the double XP last if I purchase it? Is it a limited time for $1 or is it for life of the game?

Okay more of a full reviewWell I played this for about an hour last night and maybe another half an hour before school. The game Block Fortress reminded me of the legendary builder 'Block Fortress' from minecraft, where a game with unlimited building potential. The creativity is endless with at least 30 different building blocks. Enjoying the game it was soon released that it had to fall one day, not from age but goblocks. So you have to strap yourself with firearms and blocks to keep your base alive. There are three modes to play in a sandbox(unlimited resources), quickstart(Start with a lot of resources and thrown into a quick game) and survival(Basically survive and collect resources) all of which are fun with there own rules. There are 6 blocky environments to hold your creations and at least a good 15 different goblocks to bring them down. Though as the difficulty increase so does your experience and level, allowing you access to more powerful weapons and defense units, to bring down those goblocks. Yeah with survival you may cheat and say unlimited turrents no you must earn money from killing them or mines to build further support to your base. Feeling over run yet, yes? Then welcome to minecraft, you must now build yourself and modify your weapons with crafting resources you may have earned on the battlefield to put those goblocks where they belong.

A great game, its a fair thing to say. Love minecraft, me, tower defense or all 3 this is for you, I am not lying to you but it is very clear that this problem of a goblocks just depends on you.

Total file size after installing: 199mb

Ok sounds good, also, why wasn't you the creator of minecraft? lmao
This game is much easier to control and handle in my opinion. Last why in sandbox mode we get infinite resources? Why not work our way up to build our own fortress by going into surviving mode and collecting resources and we can deposit resources we don't need into sandbox mode to use? Also, can you make a clear map, so we can create our own little place? I dont' feel like deleting everything(in sandbox mode).

Would be sweet in sandbox mode there was multiplayer for that and we can have a couple people or another person help build things. Also, have the bad creatures stay attacking you, don't have it so we can turn it off. I didn't like that. Would just rather kill them all and collect resources from them? They attack only if you get to close to them or start attacking them.

Please please make a hunger games map for your community online players to keep playing this game. That would be so sweet. :)

Wow. I'm overwhelmed and intimidated on day one, that's for sure. The possibilities are limitless with this game. I'm excited to watch it grow. I have no minecraft experience, so this blank canvass thing is crazy. Great time so far.

Trying out the game now :)

I just downloaded the game and bought the exp doubler :) I played two rounds haha. The game doesn't do well with explaining what some of the stuff are(i.e. what a mineral deposit looks like) but i guess its part of the hands on learning experience. Aiming a gun in the game is not as smooth as I would like it to be but i guess its because of i'm still using the default pistol. Nevertheless, I'm enjoying the gameplay so far haha.

So, what are some good setups for your fortress, turrets, and mineshafts?

You seem to be missing the point of a "sandbox". The idea is to give the player complete control, so they can do anything they like. If you start throwing in limitations like the ones you're suggesting, that's not a sandbox, it's just another game mode.

Also, you only have to flatten the terrain once, then you could save it as a template.

Do you get rare minerals for playing sandbox mode?

I guess I never got to understand sandbox modes:D
This is my first minecraft experience. I don't know what to do on the game and what to suggest. All that matters is that I tried. Right?

EDIT: Thanks for the helpful tip about saving the terrain.

Mineral deposits are those tiny cubes on the ground. You need to put mineshafts on top of them. I believe mineshafts are the only way to get minerals while playing. (Just for anyone wondering)

I dont think so, but i could be wrong. I'm assuming they dont because sandbox mode is generally easier than survival.

It'll open up a whole new world once you unlock Mining Drills! You can stack 3 on top of eachother and strip mine entire minerals deposits in just a round or two! :p

I just figured that out haha :) you could also get more rare minerals from mineral shafts(in addition to the ones you get after beating a round). I'm assuming that the more mineral shafts you have the better chance of getting bonus rare materials.

Rare minerals let you upgrade items in the craft menu on the home screen of the game. You get different rare minerals on different maps.
