    I don't know if this is a bug or an intended change but I have noticed something else different about Survival now. Previously when you would build mine shafts or mine drills the cost of each would increase with each one you built (i.e. shaft one costs $50, shaft two costs $60, shaft three costs $90 and so forth)

    Now the number of initial cost shafts and drills increases each round. For example in round one your first shaft costs $50 and shaft two costs $62, then on turn two your first, second, and third shafts cost $50 and the fourth shaft costs $62. And on round four the first, second, third, and fourth shafts cost $50 and the fifth one is $62 and so on. That means a drastic increase in "m" production. I've only gone 15 waves since updating but now I want to see how many shafts I can build. My device doesn't do well past wave 150 but I'll try to see how many mines I can build from 1-100 or so.

    Edit: I just went back and reloaded my save and it's definitely not intended. Upon reloading my wave 10 save with 11 mine drills which cost $60 each I scrapped each one and ended up with over $16000. When I built them back the went in the normal cost sequence. Although I must say that I did like the ideas of the number of cheap resource block being dependent on the level of the wave. It would make it a lot easier to start out on a later wave than trying to build up a lot of resources by playing a map from wave one.

    The bug for saved games still seems to exist. It seems to restart all saved games at wave 1, regardless of how far you had made it in the save game.

    Decided to finally buy apps, and this was one of my first purchases. Very pleased with it so far (understatement), my only issue is that certain times on co-op it can get very laggy & freeze/dc...it can get frustrating haha

    Altogether AWESOME game, lookin forward to more games (especially the monster adventures one :) )!

    Glitch when holding weapons still exist

    The glitch where ( at least on ipad 1) when holding weapons one would at most weapons only would see the tip of the gun sticking out of the bottom of the screen still exist and the recoil animation for the bazooka is gone. Never the less I am happy about the many bug fixes that has followed the coop patch:)

    I started a new game (because my saved games are affected by the bug I mentioned above) and I've noticed a new bug. It seems that I don't get credit for coins that I pick up during the level. Also, when I erase a newly placed block in build mode, I don't get coins back for it.

    What is going on? Is anyone else having these problems? I'm not jail broken, running on iPad 4, with iOS 6.1.3.

    Update: just noticed that I only get the money bug when I have played a co-op game before starting a new survival game.

    The other bug (saved games starting back with wave 1) seems to be present regardless of whether I have tried a co-op game during the same app launch session.

    Don't think that's a bug it's an improvement, before that you weapons would take a lot from you FOV.

    But the old version looked so much cooler. The FOV and awesomeness:cool: was some of the pistols only advantages, it was a part of weapon balance. There should at least be a toggle.

    But i do think and hope it is a bug since the bazooka does't have a recoil animation anymore.

    There was some talk a while back of adding the option of playing the game without the FPS elements. Did anything come of that?

    Hey guys, Block Fortress will be hitting the OSX Mac App Store tonight (or officially tomorrow), if you're interested! Definitely feels good to have mouse and keyboard control. Uses iCloud as well, so all profile data should transfer as well.

  17. Rocking this base config

    So I loaded up Bf today and thought, hmm, let me build my towers on top of trees... Enemies don't go after trees... It's been working so far! This shot is 5-10 levels ago. All weapons up top.

    My barracks is built into that wooden block there... I always play on maps with hills so I can build my barracks completely underground or at least solidified on one or more sides.


    Also, any chance we can post individual scores in coop? I have some of the most frenetic fun when coop drops players and it's just me, their bots versus the hordes!! I made it 13 minutes tonight... Crazy crazy!

  18. Bots you use

    I usually, in survival, use this bot order...

    Dog 1-10
    Attack 10-20
    Future 20-30

    The dog at the start is great for helping up the M harvested. I then go to the Attack bot to help with defense of weak sides, while the landscape is still not chaotic :) and then have been using Future Bot for the last 10 to help collect coins.

    I have toyed with the Sniper bot, too, on these later maps to help take out special units... but feel my defenses + spamming mines and depth charges between maps has been working pretty well....

    I know no one's been talking about the game lately, but just getting back into it and hoping with the desktop versions we can stir up more conversations! Love this game!

    Looks cool, is there a way to copy the iOS save data (like maps) too to the Mac version? Would be great to use mouse to actually shot and also wonder if the Mac version will be updated as iOS version in the future.
