As much as I like Block Fortress (and I do. I consider it possibly the tactically deepest game for the platform), these are the biggest news for me. To this day, I haven't played a single Foursaken game that I don't believe wouldn't be paradigmically awesome with online multiplayer. And yeah, I'm not letting go of that dream of a competitive (but far more tactically varied and interesting) Bug Heroes-DotA-like either, now less than ever
Coop?? Hey Foursaken and Foursaken_Tom You said the update was submitted a week ago... did ya'll have to resubmit or something? Usually doesn't take this long? Can you at least post the changelog or update info so we can know what's coming Thanks! Looking forward to it!
Yep, we did have to resubmit... found an issue a few days in that probably would have gotten us rejected >_< Already resubmitted and I think we should be good for next week though, as long as it gets through approval of course (which usually takes anywhere from 5-7+ days, btw). Notable additions besides co-op are a few new flat maps, 2 new bots (one premium and one free), and a bunch of fixes! Change-log: added GameCenter co-op multiplayer with support for up to 4 players! added the ability to create, upload, and download maps for use in co-op games added two new flat terrain types - swamp and tundra - with rare blue and white minerals added GameCenter leaderboards for the new terrain types, flat plains, and multiplayer modes added two new bots - a long-range sniper bot and a FREE light bot added a new storage crate box (handy for storing and transferring resources in multiplayer games) optimized save game files so downloading and uploading should be much faster (for games saved starting from version 1.3 and later) fixed a bug that would cause you to stop shooting when you started to fall fixed a bug that would cause land mines to explode when you or your bot walked on them fixed a bug that would cause shotgun to shoot only one bullet fixed a bug where some terrain would be missing a corner block, allowing you to fall through the ground into oblivion fixed a bug that would cause some supported blocks to fall when deleting nearby blocks fixed a bug that would cause enemies to get stuck when they fell into water increased the reload time of heavy plasma
Well I'm hopeful for next week, since it'll be worth it Come on Apple, have some random guy approve it right now so we can play
Brilliant The multiplayer sound awesome,! Can't wait. Will all players recieve the same amount of rare minerals at the end of the round?
Don't know if this has already been posted, but according to FM's twitter feed, the update's hitting today! Finally!
