He shots some kind of high rate of fire spreading plasma with AOE effect. Attack bot has 2 machine guns and fires rockets but he reloads them (rockets) for a long time (still fires with machineguns) - maybe ROF will improve it Future bot is in my opinion good at every situation, attack bot is better at guarding and others are situational
Ok, then Future Bot it is! -- Has anyone else experience these two possible bugs? Unless I'm misunderstanding the bunker upgrade process and I'm missing something. Second minor one is that all the enemy info in the guide reset. So even though I'm level 15, enemy info is appearing as if they were appearing for the first time.
Disregard, the bunker problem was only for that game. --- So...uh, yeah...lasers and MIRV kick ass. Two best weapons in the game, by far. Lasers because of the range and just the epicness of seeing a dozen lasers crisscrossing across the map. And MIRV, well...seeing the missile split apart and impact never gets old. Right now, my new game is saved as Laser Forest. A dozen lasers atop towers circling the map, covering every direction and the bunker itself. Badass.
Starting Out Bronxsta, First thing, mine enough minerals to craft a detection mod on plasma turrets. Place your base near the minerals (groups of minerals close enough to share one power block). Put the first power block on the base itself and place two plasma cannons and two mines down for the first round. Plasma facing the attack, mines preferrably near the base or behind the base from the direction of attack. Do not upgrade your weapon or upgrade your base until after level 5, let the plasma turrets do the work. Each time the direction of attack shifts, place two cannons on your base facing that direction and try to place an additional mine in a defensible area. Mine enough minerals to also add damage and armor piercing on Plasma. This will really help on the later levels. I think it's the testosterone that makes you want to place lasers early, but they're expensive when you start, so hold off with the lasers until after level 11 if you don't have detection crafted on them. Plasma is perfectly suited for defense if done correctly up through level 11. Create a wooden (only $1 a block) scaffold from the top of your base about 10 blocks high and then create a square ring from this scaffold (kind of like a lasso) and place your plasma turrets on the side (not the top) of this scaffold. This will limit their range, but will make them more effective in defending your base.
I totally agree about the mesh. I was talking about using wood to build the scaffold above the base to hold the plasma and lasers. Kind of like how the lights are set up at a concert. No point in spending the extra $ when it's safe from the Goblocks in the first 25 levels. I use mesh on the ground where goblocks are around and wood in the air when I just need a platform for weapons. Another good strategy is to use the trees to host the plasma weapons on some maps. You can place a power supply and 3 or 4 plasma on the tree. Most Goblocks will ignore the trees for the first 15 or so levels.
Is anyone else having issues with stun not working properly post update? Now any weapon that would normally stun enemies only stops the animations but they continue moving and can still inflict damage. Also, my favorite thing to have happen in this game is howitzers sniping jumpers midair. I hate those guys so it's very satisfying.
First time I saw a midair howitzer strike...O_O @Doofratti - Just started using this tactic yesterday --- So besides co-op, what other things do people want added in future updates? Me: - desert map (dunes, plateaus, etc.) - maybe a map with caves or arch formations - more map types in general - special manual turret equipment (set it down and you can physically man the turret) - cloaking gear (temporary invisibility) - more sandbox options - more melee weapons beside power hammer - maybe weapon upgrades add cosmetic change to weapon appearance - unique special upgrades for weapons (shotguns becomes double barreled, etc.) - arc lightning gun (shoots electricity, could be upgraded to chain lighting)
I'd like to see substantially larger maps. It's a stretch, but I also think it would be really cool to give more options to sandbox like placing enemies and not requiring a barracks so FPS style levels could be created and shared.
I love the sandbox levels, but agree... Enemy placement, have a "level end" flag or something..... Boss Goblocks at every 10 levels would be sweet, too.... Versus mode would be sweet, too... I'd IAP for that
Another "thing"... Don't know if it is a bug... When you are on the Equip screen and jetpack is in your inventory, you can press the jetpack button it will do the jetpack animation... You can press it multiple times quickly and cause some sweet slow down I also have two jetpacks equipped.... Is that even legal? I just double jumped!
Image of multiple jetpacks... Sorry, should have attached this last post... You can equip all the inv spots with them, it's kinda fun quintuple jumping!
I would love special mods unique for a weapon, like a longer barrel for the shotgun and s suppressor for the pistol. Ofcourse they have to be visual too.
Multiplayer I would love to see player vs. player multi-player. You're both placed in random spots on the map and get a starting set of resources. You have to try to mine and use the resources to build a fleet of bots and then send them out to attack you're opponent's base, mines, towers, etc. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? I think the Block Fortress environment would be perfect for this though! I'd have no problem buying a separate game that had this or buying the option in app.
